when I use the HBrelog to auto start the profile it will say that it will inform hbrelog that we are done, but does nothing.

 

That issue came up with the latest patch, but Highvoltz has updated HBRelog to do the right thing again. You might want to check the support thread for HBRelog. There is also a slight possibility it is connected to the current bugs in HB itself, but I already see the devs hard at work on those tickets. If you have the current version of HBRelog and the next version of HB it should work again.

 

Please give us the option to set the heroic 25 man version directly, instead of having to babysit and change difficulties manually, especialy for icc and dragon soul.

 

You can already select any desired difficulty in the options for every raid through the Studio Companion plugin. It is a per character setting, but will be respected when running the raid manually or through the Studio Planner.

Are they working on fixing the targeting issues I don't want to be doing these by hand hence the reason I spent so much for this profile? also is there a one price fits all for everyone of your xpacks paying per gets costly.

 

I saw the the issue was assigned to a developer so I assume a fix is in the works. It annoys me probably more than you, because I am the one getting refunds from unsatisfied customers. :-( It is also pretty hard to decide what falls into the area of the HB issues and what might be new issues in my profiles. The fact is that the cataclysm bundle has been out for 5 months now and most of the issues have been resolved (apart from a recurring problem with Sinestra that I seem to have fixed, but for a few people it still fails. I did get that store ranking for a reason and the current situation is highly annoying to me. I am sorry it causes you such inconvenience.

About the product structure: Right now there are two bundle products. There is the Retro Bundle and there is the Cataclysm Bundle. Those should have you covered in regards to raids for now. There is no bundle that contains those two bundles. That would be not only a development nightmare having to update a profile in up to 4 different products each time I change something, but there is also the issue that nothing on the store can cost more than € 29.99. So I couldn't even create a bigger bundle if I wanted to.

Hey there Studio60! So this is my second week of using your All in one Cata profile to farm heroic raids for gold and so far it's going really well. I thought I'd post some issues I did have, though, they probably aren't even your fault I'm guessing it's something to do with HB. Anyways let's get the list started!

1. First issue I ran into on both my monk and DK was on Nefarian after you go up and kill your add when he spawns lava and you drop back down about 30 seconds after that the bot spams something about a death hook being removed and re-added and it doesn't stop doing this until either your character kind of wigs out and dies or you kill the boss. It's a semi-big deal as it can get you killed.

2. Now this issue so far I've only had on my monk not my DK - but on Ragnaros the monk will just sit there right at the entrance and do nothing, bot says it's going to engage Ragnaros but it never does I've had to manually start the fight and it took over from there.

3. This isn't really a big deal at all but I thought I would throw this in here anyways! Sometimes the bot will take the panda city route to get to a raid which is fine but it doesn't check if you've completed the quest to unlock that huge gate in Kun-Lai Summit as none of my characters have Panda flying there. So you just end up running into the door and looks super bottish. **this is a really minor thing but I'm just posting it here anyways and it probably only affects new bot characters that don't have the fp**

That's all of the issues I've run into using your profile and the first two probably aren't even your fault (or the third one really) but maybe you could find a way around it. I also wanted to ask you for a feature request if it wouldn't be that hard to add (I don't code so I'm not sure!) Would it be possible to add what spec we want to be for each raid zone? For instance, my monk does much better in most raids as brewmaster (Don't have the gear to out DPS some mechanics yet so tank mode lets me easily kill some bosses), except in Firelands and dragon soul I have to be Windwalker for some bosses to do more dmg to avoid 1 shots.

I'm not sure if that would be an easy feature to implement or not but if so that would be really awesome! Overall I'd rate your profile a solid 9/10 and honestly the one point reduction isn't really your fault but Singular's/odd stuff hb does. Thanks again for all your hard work!

 

Hey there! I have very little time today, so forgive me my short answering style:

#1: This will be resolved in a future update.

#2: There is an engagement problem with some enemies that are not standing on solid ground in Honorbuddy, I will add a general fix after Studio Companion 2.0 has been released.

#3: I am not quite sure how to solve this. I might add a sub profile that just does the quest to unlock the gate in the future when flight is not available. This will add a detour the first time a character without flight runs a raid, but it should really help in the long run so I guess those will be 20 minutes well spent.

#4 (the speccing issue): This requires a few more words, so here it goes. As I intend to support all my products through Legion I have huge plans for the Studio Companion. For example I want to add a component to the Companion that tracks raid boss kills through a remote server and offers statistics on those. That way you can see with what specs at which level/item level other players are beating the encounter. Another one is adding embedded combat routines. This means I want to add combat routines that are free, but only usable with my products to the Studio Companion. Since every character gets access to all specs in 7.0 I also want to add a feature where the bot decides which spec to use for a given encounter. I expect all DPS issues to be resolved with this change, but I can not promise those CRs will be done before 7.0. My plan is to add all the rotations in a configurable way so that I just need to update my config database in 7.0 and the CR should automatically use new rotations. But this is a major project and will be started once Pet Battle Studio has been released.

 

Ah, yes I do recall you mentioning you were going to make your own CR's for your raiding profiles - I didn't know you had planned to add a server to track stats like spec/il/class/boss kills and everything with possibly auto-spec changing based on what would be best for that boss. Very cool indeed, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply so quickly, I'm sure you're really busy so again, thanks for the quick reply! I always strive to give my customers a little bit extra. Everybody can do basic work, but going the extra mile is what gives you a reputation. I still have one secret project that would blow your mind, but I can't really discuss it in here. Just believe me when I say, it has never been seen before.

 

I agree - that extra mile is what distinguishes you from everyone else and I must say you're doing an impeccable job so far! I'd love to know what your secret project is but I guess I'll just have to wait and see! It's always good to have something to look forward to - it's like waiting in anticipation to open your gifts on your birthday as a kid. You don't know what's under that wrapping paper but you're sure it's probably the best thing to of ever existed! Haha.

 

Have you had a lot of people asking for refunds? only reason I ask is that I bought the cata and due to all the problems with navigation and targeting I die almost every raid on a lot of bosses and my gear is more then good enough to handle 25 heroic but for some reason these problems are holding your profile back I cant even afk because he dies all the time due to not killing what he should be or in firelands getting trapped by dogs on shan or pinned down by spiders on beth so just curious if people are getting fed up with how much it cost and not being able to use it afk like it was intended to?

 

what class/spec/ilvl? i have a full 11 man roster with no hiccups on any all of them roughly 700ilvl doing 25man heroic cata raids. Are you using singular as the combat routine?

 

hey studio i went through the forums i couldnt find the answer if gold mailing was supported from the plugin ? like for example if an alt completes full run and after that he sends all gold to the mail recipient. If this can be done can you lead me the right way? or maybe future patch? As always amazing job thanks for your work!

 

When I compare this month to all the others, the refund rate is well in my average and as usual, way, way below the store average. But I have had reports from other community developers complaining about the refunds due to the current navigation errors. That is just a risk you take, when you produce "addons" in any form for an existing software. We can't really see what is going on behind the scenes, as we have no access to the internal bugtracker. But you seem to be someone who vocalized his/her opinion, so why not ask the Staff in the official support forum directly for an ETA on the flight fix. Maybe they will answer you.

I also feel that the issues do not affect everyone the same way. I received 6 new reviews for the product over last week. All of them were 5 Stars.

 

That idea never ocurred to me. I was thinking about adding a "guild bank gold deposit" functionality in the future, but mailing gold would not be much different. Not a high priority feature, but I will put it on my list.
