I have a working plugin to configure a missing custom scripts folder and write the profiles into it for you along with version comparison, currently it writes the whole profiles/scripts in though and ideally I want to be able to communicate with the plugin for encounter behaviors. If I can't work it out I'll release it as is via the store purely so the deployment is easy.
Exactly- the scripts and profiles that are there buy default are simply there from the either the .zip/.exe file you downloaded and installed/extracted.. These files are NOT dynamic every time you login. The only time they are updated and if/when they are updated then pushed into an OFFICAL HB release/beta. One of the reasons I paused my development on dungeon buddy scripts. I had been developing normal/heroic HFC scripts for 10-25man botting (how I farm gold atm) for it to work it had to be dynamic.. and SVN (I don't why) seems to be too hard for some of these users.... its a shame SVN isn't a standard with operating systems now.
In the LFR Halls of Blood, I always see my bot getting stuck at 49,69 and it doesnt seem to path up the stairs properly, but tries to go through a wall at the previously stated location.
You create a local copy via the SVN, then set the custom scripts directory in Dungeonbuddy settings to the folder with .xml files inside. It is not recommended to use the "default" folders due to advisement from the bot creator.
I'll check the location, but it is likely a mesh issue and would need to be reported in the navigation issues forum.
I read install instruction, but its not clear to me. I have done: SVN Checkout to this dir: C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\Daten\HB\Goldboss\HFC Scripts Custom Profile in Dungeonbuddy to C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\Daten\HB\Goldboss\HFC Scripts (is that right or direct to C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\Daten\HB\Goldboss\HFC Scripts\HellfireCitadel ?) Except enable in Dungeonbuddy for the new raids, do i have to do anything? Edit: After first raid, i got instant next invite. But bot is doin nothing in new LFR? I use Goldboss with Botterhelp plugin...
Works good, except one raid [DungeonBuddy]: Entered Destructor's Rise dungeon and using default script [DungeonBuddy]: Successfully loaded default profile for Destructor's Rise Hes just running against the closed doors... any idea? (direct after joining raid)
This is new issue, seen it today too, but it was not experienced so far, without script changes, so it looks like mesh/navigation issue.
Cant we just set a blackspot tehre, i dont think the bot has to go there anytime (in this lfr) He dont even engage in combat if you run him there manually.... if someone sees this is probably instant ban...
Probably... almost. Its likely I can just set avoidance on that door. The meshes seem to think every door is open (which is actually fantastic), its just harder to realize this as you start out because the meshes also don't allow you to walk through open doors due to unknown reasons (probably missing bits). So in this case it may mean the meshes actually improved that's possibly great news. I'll add this in today and test it. Please report any other occurrences.
We need a fast update about this door bug. Today my toon run for some minutes gainst it..... with 8(!!!!!!) other bots................ I dont understand why the bots dont engage in fight atleast.. i mean its like they want to run out of the raid... edit: okay i saw you updated it, sorry, will try out. edit2: Did you check if it resolve the issue?
It did for me, I rely on feedback. I'm also testing some code for stopping movement if the encounter gates are shut, so you can't run into gates if locked out. I've only seen that happen once myself so I have to intentionally miss encounters.
I suppose one option would be to have the bot leave the instance if the gate's closed, as there isn't much you can do then.
Actually, even if you "miss" the encounter, you will get credit for the LFR Wing complete. Plus some encounters pull/summon you inside at certain stage, like Blackhand (if im not wrong). So oleary's idea of stay idle instead of tanking the closed gate/wall is quite productive! So far, I have seen similar behavior in some previous LFR wings, so it should be definitely achievable.
Yes, I just have to test it for each gate and then ensure everything still happens when properly engaging the encounters. This behavior is actually missing in one of the default scripts for a previous raid prior to an encounter actually starting, it always bothers me, leading me to try and prevent it for my scripts in any capacity.
100 holy paladin 700 Item level The black gate : seems to run around all the time . runs in the the wall to the steps ( where the mobs spawn ) . last time i stopped it was because it was chained and running in circles. Destructors rise : runs off and gets stuck . never seems to make it the the last 2 bosses . will try your new update today ( Destructor's Rise entrance door ) Bastion Of Shadows : seems to always die on the first boss . i get stuck in the first boss room ( mostly the first time of the week when the boss has loot ) slow releasing running back to loot gives raid time to run a head. i still get stuck before the 3rd boss. All the profiles are great and i thank you for all the hard work. i use then every Tuesday / server reset. what i posted on the Satchel Farming forum is because i run 6 + bots while i am not AFK .it is hard to not get stuck or stop crazy bot stuff on all the accounts. so best not to use the last 3 HFC
