Here is something very constructive, as a meber since the beggining, why would the HB team fix anything when they have people like you that will pucker up no matter how blatent the mistakes? Have you been here through the last 52 banwaves that are now spaced 3-4 hours apart? Do you know how i missed thiss last wave? Not using HB at all. I own 2 lifetimes, and I still thing HB is one of the best if not the best all around bot out there, but safety is terrible. There is always a risk when botting, using HB you triple it, because everyone turns a blind eye, and no one wants to admit there is a problem that needs addressed. So your part of the problem. Giving kudos when it should not be given. If this was a bank losing your money for the 15 time, would you pat em on the back, and say, well get em next time? There is a problem, and the team has the knowledge, and experience to beat it. But instead it seems like they would rather sit back, and let the great community devs suffer, and bail one after one. That all HB has at the moment, those comm devs are the lifeblood. they are pretty much the reason for anything new and interesting in the last coupole years. your lack of critisism is far from helpful. I sit here and read posts from people talking about how awesome things are, and I dont know what you all are watching. I often wonder if your a blizzard employee trying to keep HB like this so we can keep the hourly banns going.

It didn't get leaked, it got straight up stolen through shady tactics by Blizzard. Which, coincidentally, is one of the reasons that HB is suing Blizzard.

Ryftobuddy is correct in his characterization. Also, the stolen Stormbuddy source has no bearing on any of Bossland GmbH's other bots. More info here:

Maybe it's time to stop using CTM because 90% of people who use that are botters.
I know of only a handful of people who use CTM due to a disability or other reasons. Most bots operate that way and it's easy to detect.
See whot's running CTM -> what are they running ? Dungeons 24/7 ? Well that's obvious. Do they run publicly known "profiles" or good spots to farm, well that's obvious too.
I'll be gone for 18 months, unless next week (when I appeal for proper reasons) I get my main's account back, and if the game is still in the same state it is now, I won't renew anymore and Blizzard is done.
What hurts the "casual" botter a lot is those big companies with over 50 bots 24/7 who basically give away all the farming spots and bring attention to the entire botting industry. I understand it's supply and demand for the ingame currency and other items and I don't like to blame people, but those big botters are a factor to be taken into account with.
Please don't see this as an attack on the big fish (I have a lot of respect for you!) but it brings too much attention to certain farming places which in return brings attention to the community, which in return brings attention to Blizzard.
When I was botting with 5+ accounts at least I did different things in different places at different times of the day. Last week I logged in and I see 20+ bots in the same zone doing the same thing (and it wasn't a Chinese farmer, let that be clear) really close to a highly visited spot in WoW. That's way to obvious and will draw attention.
This is just my 2c tho, probably not worth a lot, but I hope some people can draw conclusions out of it.

ctm doesend matter the twitch streamer nohandsken plays with ctm method or els he couldnt play he plays without hands its not ctm that gets us banned the automate and stucking for hours at a three or something like that a player sees you and reports you and sometimes you have quest where you have to wait for an quest item and all the botters are there in that same spot its easy to find out who quest bot or who is real.

I gave the example of CTM since a lot, if not most, botters use that. I never said ONLY botters use CTM I even said I know people who use it because they have a disability.
It's just a known thing that most bots operate with CTM so it's easier to detect it that way.

Personally i really think we should have a long chat about BGbuddy + Interrupts in PVP. Blizzard (sometimes) listens to their consumer and their IMO 90% ++ off the whines comes the people who play PVP.

So if we can reduce the "annoyance" on their everyday consumer by not using BGbuddy or 0.1 nanosec interrupts in arena, i personally think it would help alot.

it makes zero difference, ZERO. stop thinking you know anything that the buddy developers don't already know, if they think CTM is fine then it's fine end of argument

None yet, though 2 of my HOL bots were targeted by a horde player ganking em so I expect a ban like this soon possibly if not just keep on going.
I know farming felblights is the worst thing you can do these days, it use to be my bread and butter due to prices being better due to demand but if I bot this for more than 2 weeks even with breaks now not 24/7 I get 6 month player report ban.

Firelands now can be another issue, they are taking open world farming reports just as serious as pvp reports these days just be careful out there boys.

      Wahh wahh fucking Wahh.

I *****ed in a game using a program I didn't design, but I sure feel entitled to come here and bitch about it when I get banned!

Jesus you guys are a bunch of fucking babies, its pathetic. The moment you attached HB to your WoW acc you were inevitably getting banned. Its not HB Dev's fault, its time to accept responsibility for YOUR actions.

Botting will NEVER, EVER be 100% safe. I have my 6 mo ban ending in a month, I'll be done botting because I don't want to lose my account, but I didn't come here and bitch and moan 5 months ago when it happened. I understand that its MY DOING, and no one elses.

You guys need to grow the fuck up and stop acting like you know how any of this works. If you're that educated, design your own fucking personalized bot, which will be hundreds of times safer than any publicly available bot if you truly have any clue.

if its detected why was I just botting for 24 hours AFK questing?

it might get you banned EVENTUALLY but that is the same for all bots in existence, if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen

This whole banwave thing kinda confirms it's detected, not sure why you're arguing about that.

The fact that you botted for 24 hours AFK and didn't get banned is just an anecdote, and doesn't bring much to the table really.

Its really weird hearing people that had not been botting for 3 months got hit. I refuse to believe that. I botted 24/7 for 1 week on two accounts. That was 3 weeks ago, and I wasnt hit

It's pretty simple, the bot is absolutely Detectable, but Blizzard gathers information for MONTHS then stops gathering info, they then wait X days and toss out a banwave. Definitely gives the Devs of Bosslands a run for their money, nothing is more frustrating than not knowing the exact details of when a bot was flagged. So saying "I botted for X days X months ago" means nothing, because we can't pinpoint exactly when Blizzard was "detecting".

People need to get rid of this Myth Idea that botting was ever safe to use on your main. Since...EVER...Bosslands has explicitly told all of us that the bot WILL get you banned EVENTUALLY. Then when it happens, people get really upset and completely unreasonable like Bosslands kept it a huge secret and they're evil villains ripping us off. It's a bit ridiculous. In this new world of botting expect a wave every 6 months, which used to be the norm back in glider days, don't use it on your main account and just support your main with Botting alt accounts.
