edit: any update from the buddy team would be nice tho how things are now is it gonna take 1 more day is the job nearly done with whatever they're doing?

 

2017/12/08 Fresh accounts, blizz aiming high.

 

I don't want to be that 'OMG how long is it gonna take?!?!' guy, but a rough estimate would be greatly appreciated. It has been a little over 12 hours now since the last announcement in the [Official] Thread, so any indication (very soon, some hours, a day, some days, a week, a month, more) would at least give us botters some idea as to how frequently to check the status; if the devs need a lot of time, like, the whole weekend or more, then at least I know that I can leave everything on hold until then.

 

Hello! First time using HB and bought it just yesterday, I spent about 30 minutes in total botting just quests on a new toon and about 1-2 quests on another level 50 toon, so all in all about 30 minutes of botting yesterday before the tripwire thing shut down HB.

Should I be worried? Feel safe or am I just as in the dangerzone as everyone else? Thanks.

No-one can answer that question. No-one knows if Blizzard needs to keep a record of your botting actions, and if so, for how long. Maybe they need to log your behaviour for at least x hours to be fairly sure you're botting. Maybe they know it in a matter of minutes or even seconds. They might even detect the bot the moment HB attaches to your WoW process. No-one knows. The ban reports are also very diverse; some botters who bot 24/7 on multiple accounts got banned, but people who only used fishing bot in their own garrison for 15 minutes also got banned. No-one knows. Yeah, well, Blizzard obviously knows, but I doubt it you can just call 'em up and ask it

Yeah I understand that too, I've heard of people botting for months constantly dodging detection while others who spent barely two days gets caught. Was just checking if my situation was more optimistic due to such little time botting.

However, the developer can be pretty long time until the HB works again. ;(

 

Rather safe than sorry, we don't lose any of the time we paid for and they are only making sure our accounts are as safe and secure as they can be, last update seemed optimistic the way I read it at least.

 

they caught the detection attempt now they got to work out if they need to change HB before they let us back in, must be a very stressful job

lol you've only lost 4 total? i have full battle.net accounts with all 8 wow licenses banned. you lost literally nothing compared to me or most of the other hardcore farmers here.

So tripwire hasn't worked correctly, if they have pushed an update and its not detected for a few hours?

you seem to be confused the update is not a normal battle.net update and it doesnt go out to all users at the exact same time, and sadly blizzard doesnt send out a twitter update when they push a new detection

 

One thing we were asked to not do, was speculate. Lets just see what happens.

You can't sit there and say such ridiculous things constantly. Every single post has been how great tripwire is and how it saves people. Yet in previous months regardless of tripwire detections people have still been raped. Just saying dude... and bans don't happen immediately. Next 2 weeks we could all be wiped out.
