I just ran across some people asking for a method, i thought i would share this dont know how many that know about this. But go to you're start then Search -> Task Schedule -> Right side in the window click Create Task -> Name it something u want mine's named "POE KILLER" -> Triggers (Set specific time & date u want it to shut down POE) -> Actions (Just leave it at "start program") -> Program/Script: taskkill /f /im "PathOfExile.exe" (Leave Argument & Start in blank.) The /f means to force it, even if the program tries to ask a question (like "Do you really want to close it?"). The /im means you want to select a task to kill by image name. Note that you can use wildcards. Typing taskkill /im P* would kill every program that had a name beginning with the letter P. There you go, u got a "timer" for poe to shut down, so u aint botting for like 20 hours straight.. (this is a way to keep a low profile, if u care a little about ur account) I'm using it for overnight botting! -If wrong section lmk, as mentioned just saw some people who asked for something like this, so hoped this could help. -Kylling. EDIT: If anyone want a "picture" guide lmk, can fix something up quickly
Thanks for the info, the thing that I liked from the plug in was I could leave it for 4 days or whatnot if I was going away for weekend.
True, but this doesnt shutdown the PC, it only closes POE which also automatically closes EB But yea theres many softwares for it, but why not use the build-in software? =)
Well, u could do so as well with this? =) Just open it up start it & put the shutdown let's say Monday (after this weekend at 4AM or so?) Only thing which would make it fk up would be if there was a failure in the bot -Kylling.
There's a feature in some motherboards, (which was mandatory for me) it's Wake on Clock. basically powers on the PC at a given hour in the bios. the computer powers/shutdown itself, just have a little things to add in Task scheduler in windows and it runs for weeks. huehue.
