For some reason My HB is not working! it skips the page where I have to select to Load ! And it automatically goes to ask for my Key log in. I have updated all drivers just incase, I have updated all software closed all software, Turn on and off my Internet security, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have deleted cache and settings, I have closed all my background processes such as Utorrent Discord and everything in between even skype. I was getting ready to play again with HB but this wont go away it just straight away goes to the login without launching. I cant attach a log of the HB as I said it doesn't launch the WoW View attachment DxDiag.txt
Hi, Hdleo, Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586) First, you are on a 'beta' version of Windows (Msoft calls them 'insider previews'). You need to be on a 'release' version of Windows (Msoft calls it RTM). The RTM build number is currently #10240. You will need to google to figure out how to roll back an Insider Preview version to the RTM version. Second, the launcher has been removed from the current Honorbuddy distribution. More info about that here: Honorbuddy.launcher.exe is no longer shipped Please launch Honorbuddy manually, and show us the log from that. This article provides solutions to launching without the Honorbuddy launcher. Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:Launching a 32-bit WoWclient cheers, chinajade
Thank you very much it seems to be working now! I did not run a profile as I only have my main account, but it seems to attach to the WoW when I run it through 32 bit through Bnet. I would like to ask though what do you mean Im on Beta? Aren't I on a Full Microsoft windows 10 licence? can you point me where does it say this? so I can have a word who fixed my laptop last, because I had upgraded to windows 10 last year through Microsoft, and a while later it broke and took it to a repair shop. Does this mean my Windows is not genuine or not fully upgraded? as in did the repair shop screw me or it's from windows itself.
Hi again, Hdleo, Thanks for the follow-up, and glad you are off-and-away! No, we're not accusing your Windows of not being 'genuine', or fully upgraded. Somewhere in the installation process, you must've clicked on an option to participate in the Window Beta program, so they gave you the Beta OS version. We have had several instances where the Windows Beta releases prevented proper operation with programs. Honorbuddy is sometimes one of these programs. Msoft expects people who participate in their Beta program to report problems. You will need to google to find out how to change your OS from a Beta to a RTM version. The OS is beyond the scope of Honorbuddy support. But, if you are going on your current version, might as well stay with it as long as its not causing you problems. cheers, chinajade
