Hi Fellas, Probably an easy fix but when opening HB up after WoW has started since the update yesterday; and it just force closes WoW client instantly, then causes HB to crash out and put my computer into limp mode for 30 seconds or so whilst it sorts itself out. I've reinstalled WoW. Cleared all cache. Deleted all Addon's. Reinstalled HB. Not sure what else I'm left to do, so any help would be appreciated.
Hi, Ganmetaru, To analyze the problem, we'll need to see a full log of the issue. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log @Castrozan, Please open your OWN thread, and attach a log. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
Hi again, Ganmetaru, and thanks for the log. It looks like you've a program on your machine that is interfering with Honorbuddy operation. These articles will walk you through the usual suspects: BosslandGmbH:HelpDesk:AntiVirus InterferenceBosslandGmbH:HelpDeskrograms that Interfere with BosslandGmbH Products cheers, chinajade
All AV has been disabled, Firewall turned off etc; nothing on my system has changed aside from the HB tripwire issues. Edit: HB seems to be force closing wow before closing itself. Can't see this being related to AV blocking HB, thus force closing a dependency such as the WoW client. odd.
If you are using the launcher. try doing without. start hb (make sure no update box appears). then login to hb. start wow. then in the no wow box in hb retry to connect to wow... with a bit of luck it connects and then no problem... see if that helps...
Good suggestion, but the same problem arises, instantly closing WoW session the moment I click "ok" to reconnect HB to the WoW instance. Here is the log attached. View attachment 4972 2016-07-01 11.00.txt
Same here, but only with one character, with the other characters it works View attachment 1216 2016-07-01 17.02.txt
try with this solution with a new honorbuddy (try with zip hb) If it works, so you had a problem on your folder if don't work... I don't know ><
