Here's an edit with the quest taken out. View attachment [Fly][H - Quest] 90-92 Frostfire Ridge [Kick] - No Secrets of Gorgrond.xml Could you do one thing for me real quick though? In-game, run this into your chat: Code: /dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(34867); /dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(35557); After running them, can you tell me what they return? It should be either "true" or "false" on either.
Ok that worked for a little while and it stopped again...arghh. is there anyway for me to level this toon with HB now?
Hey, ive ran auto loader v2 since lv1 on my night elf hunter. Now lv 91 just finished intro quests to draenor but profiles skip Garrison intro quests and jump straight to: Goal: Picking Up Quest - Dark Enemies (http://wowhead.com/quest=33765) : From - Samaara (http://wowhead.com/npc=75005) [Ref: "Pickup" @line 669] Instead of starting at quest "Finding A Foothold"
Do you have a log for this stuck? It could just be that there's a quest somewhere along the way that broke - and now the bot can't handle it.
Do you have a log for this? It wouldn't be the auto-loader causing this issue - for some reason the bot is actually skipping the quests within the "SMV" profile.
The gutripper quest needs to be changed or disabled. Not only is it incredibly inefficient but it's being used as a fatal funnel by blizzard atm. I've had 8 of 12 bots banned during leveling in the last 2 batches all from this quest. The only ones that are alive, are the ones that I noticed were standing at the road waiting for gutripper, at which point I just did the quest manually(and this was before I knew it was ban bait, rather I just always did it because it was a billion times faster than afk standing there forever waiting for paths to cross). My most recent batch, actually had 3 of 4 banned, the 4th being the one I had manually done gutripper on. I am attaching a log to show the gutripper behavior, and this log is exactly the same as every other bot that I've had banned on that quest. Keep in mind, I'm also running a nomove plugin, and it's still not tripping in time to save the ban flag. View attachment 3736 2016-07-06 00.22.txt
I am currently leveling a mage using the auto loader v2. I'm at work so I can't post a log, but I just wanted to let you know that the quest "End of the Line" in Wotlk, the elemental adds that you encounter are immune to frostbolts, so frost mages reach a road block so to speak. The singular routine uses frostbolt as the main attack so it just keeps spamming frostbolt until you eventually die. Just wanted to share that, do my part to continue to improve this amazing profile pack. My mage is my second toon leveling with Honorbuddy . My feral druid completed 1 - 100 with no problems at all. Thanks buddy team, this pack alone is worth the price of Honorbuddy.
Hmm, very strange. Can you run these two commands in-game and tell me what they return? PHP: /dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(34582); /dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(33905);
Yea, this quest has been really nasty for botters - and is on my 'to-do' list to remove it or improve it. Removing quests is usually not the way to go because it could potentially cause every quest after this one to not be available anymore. Once I get some free time from Legion, I'll be working on this quest a bit. Along with other quests such as "City of Lights."
I actually noticed this exact issue on one of my Mage testers last week. It's a bit strange though, Blizzard removed elementals being immune to their own element when Lich King was released. It seems like they just missed these mobs. Unfortunately the profile has no influence on combat logic - in order to fix this on a profile level, I'd need to rig-up a workaround such as building a hook that disables the combat routine when fighting these mobs. Alternatively, it may be possible path around the mobs or add them to the "Avoid" logic so the bot stays away from their aggro radius. The avoid logic may be the best approach since hard-coding a combat routine into the profile is usually not a great idea. Lol I'll mark this down on my list and will work it out once I get to the Gutripper and City of Lights issues.
Echo, just wanted to let you know that there is a quest where you have to nudge the goats off the hill somewhere around lvl 40-50. The toon always falls of the cliff and gets stuck on the bottom of the hill running to the wall. this happened on every toon i leveled. not a huge issue if you can help the toons through the quest with some manual help but wouldn't hurt if you could have a look .
I know which quest you're referring to, It's Goat Time, Baby. Although I've never had a tester fall off the mountain before. What FPS are you running these bots at?
about 15, but sometimes 10. I observed when the fps is low it does not navigate well. So might be just fps issue?
It could very well be. Questbot doesn't work well when under 15 framerate. 15 framerate is usually the bare-minimum I'd recommend for it. If you can do 20, 20 is perfect. 20-21 is what I run all of my testers on.
How is it not a priority to disable a quest that's guaranteed banning people right now? I can prove it empirically and a simple test can verify
Honestly I don't know how many bots you're running but if you're talking about the Gutripper quest in Nagrand it does look suspicious. I ran 6 toons through there in the last week and none of them are banned at the moment. It may be that quest and it may not be.
