I also thought a lot of times like you, but a normal player (most of them are idiots) doesn't even recognize a bot if the bot would jump a around and screams "I'M A BOT!". This plugin is a lot safer than the normal hotspot profile shit.

Oh and thank you for the new version bobby. Gonna test it now!^^

      whatcha413,

While I appreciate the time you took to write this post, after a careful review I don't find its content useful. I don't see any prior post in this thread from you providing any constructive criticism and this particular post does not contain any either. You also seem to be assigning all bad follow behavior you have ever seen in a battleground either to this plugin or the idea of moving to an area containing battleground action. Since WOW first provided the ability to use /follow, players have been using /follow to AFK in battlegrounds. Additionally, there are other Bots on the market which provide a follow type of battleground behavior (I encountered one while developing this prior to its initial release.) To specifically identify this one, you would need to run it for awhile and become familiar with the patterns this one specifically exhibits. However, assuming a user is able to do that, I welcome their feedback and their observations on what made it distinguishable and what possible change would prevent that.

Since you clearly have been a frequent user and poster on the HonorBuddy forums, I'd appreciate any post you make contributing to the improvement of this or any other project of interest to you so everyone can benefit from your experience. If you have used this plugin, it isn't obvious from your post so I suggest you give it a try. If you haven't and don't plan on using it, then please know that your opinion about follow bots has been noted and my only request is that if you are compelled to continue extolling the dangers of botting please do so in a different thread as this one focuses on supporting Squire users.

      Thanks for your help,
      Bobby53

Tried this in WsG today, as soon as the battle started it went outside, and spent the next 5 mins trying to mount up, the toon is lvl 12, so it does not have a mount. I have all of the mount options unchecked in HB, and I tried to set the options, but couldn't find where to set it not not mount up.

Using newest HB release, and Fpsware Default Druid CC.

Disabled all plugins but this one, and still had the same problem, trying to mount when toon has no mount.

No clue how to get or post the any of the 3 log tabs in HB or would have done that. Sorry, I'm new to all this.

tjwow2011, Actually dont need the log tabs as each of those only contain partial information. Always attach the log file when posting for assistance or regarding a problem. The log file is located in your \HonorBuddy\LOGS folder. It is named with the date and time when you launched HonorBuddy.exe so there will be one for each time you've run the program if you aren't deleting them. Scroll to the bottom of this page and look for the "Go Advanced" button. Click it and it will bring up the Advanced editor. On that page will be a button named "Manage Attachments". Click it and you can upload the text file as an attachment.

As for your mount issue, I have a fix and will be uploading a new version that respects the Use Mount checkbox (currently it doesn't.) Once I upload the fixed version, that checkbox will control mount usage.

      Thanks for the post, Bobby53

Cool, thanks for the detailed instructions that'll be a big help for me knowing where the log files are and how to post them here, thanks abunch :)

Also thanks for the fix, will be downloading and testing it asap, been using just everything in Default mode for PvP, as in run wow, login to char, start HB, select pvp, hit start. WSG and AB kinda funny looking, sat and watched both a few times and well seeing the run patterns, and where and how it got to each spot, was kinda obvious robot movement.... Hoping that this will make it more "human like" The combat part works real well tho, using Fpsware's Default Druid CC and just to be honest, it is a better pvp player than I am, lol, killed quit a few horde.

The CC handles the Combat, so in this case be sure to post in Fpsware's thread and let him know how well it did. As for issues with movement, there is not really a way to troubleshoot based upon just the narrative description other than the description of the mount problem given earlier. You will need to provide a complete log file and specify the timestamp (clock time on your computer) that the behavior in question occurred at if there is anything other than the mount related issue that I need to look into. For now, my suggestion is you run the PVP Bot without Squire until you either get a mount or the fixed version is available for download. That will also give you some familiarity with the PVP Bot behavior alone so when posting an issue it will be easier to distinguish between what the Bot does, Squire, and the CC. Thanks for the post, Bobby53

Finding that there is alot of lag between following and attacking/healing.

I get a squire: pull message and it often just stands there watching.

Any ideas? Nothing in the debug log or nav logs, so not sure why it's just standing there. Tried using Ensemble DISC Priest and Resto Druid.

Used to work with healing alot better (only issue was the mounting but healing had no lag)

I'll provide an option so you can control whether it uses the new combat logic or not. Some form of that appears to be necessary for use with hybrid classes.

      Excellent plug-in :)
Only thing i had to add was the minimum density requirements to the saved config file.

      Code:
      <FollowMinDensity>3</FollowMinDensity>
      Is missing.

It's in Squire.Settings.CS but for some reason doesn't get added to each players own file so it follows people with only 1 density :D
Ignore if your not having this problem as it must just be me %)
      Using 1.000.
Plug-in sure makes the difference in BGs and no mistake.

Thanks for the post Crowley. You are correct, it should have added that and will look into for next release.
