Caught Botting by Guild Leader, now what?

Guildys will shrug it off and say sry. Plus nobody is that much of a jerk to report you for letting your little bro play xD.

 

Show a source and explain to me how people in the Phillipines can connect to United States servers to gold farm without constant disconnection. They would have to buy a great connection and a good VPN. If those are available to them, they would not be gold farming by hand for a living.

Using that, "My brother was playing" and "He dont speak English" is very old and very used.
I got caught by a guild like a year ago and told them my brother was playing and they said yeah right. Never heard that before.
Its better to come up with something new.

And what does it matter how mouch you make in China or the Phillipines and what it costs to live?
And its prety obvious they bot multiple chars on one computor to max the profit, since hand farming to sell and botting to sell is both illegal ways, the fastest way is to run more chars on one computor.

 

I live in China. My girlfriend earns ~$0.75 per hour which is pretty average. She has a 2MB broadband connection in her apartment, as do I, and I manage to connect via VPN just fine.

to be honest here i don't think your gonna lose your account even if you come clean to the guild leader...hell i admitted in TH general chat that i was a botter and i have still not gotten banned that was 3-4 weeks ago just before the ''banwave''

 

I currently run my own own raiding guild top 10 on the server and all my officers know that both me and my wife bot. They asked why i never reply and i flat out told them i bot, most of them already knew since me and my wife almost single handedly support our raiding efforts with gbank repairs, flasks etc. There are good and bad benifits to it which u do need to consider thought; for example now 2 of my officers bot which means more competition, a few of my guildies now buy off me instead of the company's (bonus for me ) and now theres a risk that if i have a falling out with one of them i could go bad very fast. But i trust them and have played with them for over a year so everything is fine so far. You just have to wieght up ur options and see if u can afford to risk it or not.

 

Tell them to mind their own business and if they keep asking go beat them up.

 

hehe thats funny im also botting in a guild but not 24/7 they didnt even noticed it i do sometimes dungeons thats all

 

i use the my son was on and i told him if he talked to Anyone online without letting me know who it was first i would make sure he didnt play for a week, because people who play wow... lets face it myself included are all a bit on the weird side... but most of my guild knows i bot, hell most of them bot, was in vent and let it slip with a "hold on a second, gotta change profiles on my alt" well those who bot knew and the questions arose... mostly to make sure we werent stepping on each others toes... but then again i bot for my own enjoyment i dont have any reason to sell gold, i farm my mats i level my professions, and alts can get expensive...

Actually most of the farmers are provided housing by their employers so I assume they get food and other benefits as well. You can work when you are sick and old which is a major problem when working in a factory type setting(or pretty much any other job), and it is a much safer environment. Plus there is the added benefit that you play a video game for a living

The average pay in shanghai is around $700 USD/mo not including housing and with their housing prices higher than ours were in 2006, I would say its a decent job relative to their other options

You mean to say that there are countries where $20/month is enough to live decently. Name them. And make sure the countries have conditions that allow for one to withdraw money from their PayPal and to have a good enough Internet connection to connect to VPNs across the seas and play WoW smoothly.

 

i do believe this is totally off topic at this point, take your arguement to your own thread, or please continue it in pm's if you must, the meaningless arguing is getting to the point where people are actually leaving the community because of such things and it is really getting old fast, not saying that neither of you have a valid point, but it is not beneficial to this post and tbh it is quite annoying how most of the threads recently have become nothing but a flame war for no reason other than bored people trolling.

I am a Guild Leader and like 7 people i know Bot We pay repairs flasks gems and whatever else u need to RAID. Hell this took all the grind ass bullshit out of the game we love it.

Africa, Afganastan to name two of them, was reading an article that some people in Afganastan have about .50c a day to spend on food. But food isnt as high priced in other countrys like this lovely over price under valued currency of ours makes it tobe.
