Hello, I have started botting about a month ago now, maybe a bit more.

I am running 9 wows, all on one pc, no vm, no proxy, single wow folder.

I've read that after some time, blizz catches up to you, and just bans every new account you use on that pc(2-3 days) I dont know if they track your hwid, ip or mac address or all of them..

So my question is, how do I avoid this?

I seen people say that they use a separate wow installation for each account, that way each wow is behind its own proxy? I assume?

So which proxy is safe to use? I read that using a logging in with a vpn gets you banned right away..

What should my next step be to prevent blizz from shutting me down?

      Thank you for helping.

      Hi vladann93,

I am sorry but NO ONE can answer this with 100% proof.
This is the reason why you should: NEVER BOT ON ANY ACCOUNT YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOOSE.

Botting is never safe so its not a question if you get a ban but when you get one.
Blizzard bans atm. only accounts botting and not accounts on the same machine not botting but there is no guarantee.
If they are connected somehow to each other like for gold traiding etc. it can happen that Blizz bans all accounts.

We cannot give any statement about Proxy or VPN and will not recommend a service or even say it makes sense using it.

If you bot there is a risk they get you. Never forget this!

I know Ill get banned.. that wasnt my question.

My question was how to avoid instant bans, ( after they find you by ip i assume, any account you log in after will get banned in 2-3 days no matter if you run the bot on it or not)

In that scenario, what does one do to escape such situation? To get off their radar, is it as simple as just changing your ip? or are there additional measures that I can take

Exactly this wasn't his question and you said a pretty obvious thing.
His question was how to avoid instant bans not how to avoid bans. :(

Ive been running into the same problem recently. Once the bot finishes updating to a usable state (neither questing or myriad seem to be working well for me atm) I will try creating some VMs with 2 bots each on them (all of the VMs with separate WoW installations). I used to run 15 bots total, 12 got banned one night so i remade them the next day only to have all 12 that i just created banned 12 hours later. RIP money. I only have 6 now, 3 of which are leveling, 3 of which are geared 700+ that were in the OG 15

I KNOW THIS WONT PREVENT A BAN, BOTTING = BAN, however, it may stop all of my bots being banned in 1 large wave within 48hrs after creation. And if not, well, hey I just proved to myself VMs dont do crap and are a waste of time. Trying it out cant hurt too much.

I will report back to this thread with my findings or link a new one.

      Hi Vladann,

Yes, you should be using different wow installations if you are using VMs. Even if you are not, there is nothing to lose for using individual wow installations(maybe a little time to update everything on patches). For botting purposes, loading times reduction from using SSD is irrelevant in the long term.

VPNs are a forbidden topic. But there's info scattered in here. If you are new to using them, they are more an added problem than anything. They require expertise and money.....stay away from ANY PUBLIC ONE or get instabanned in your entire system.

IP Bans are normally reserved for big-time botters. If you intend to be one, you'll have to consider them when planning your budget and expenses.
Don't get fooled by second-grade bussiness numbers you can find in here. There are trolls and even worse around!

There is a lot more to consider than " I have a bot , I make 10k a day, I can make 300K a month, so I should get 300 bots and I'll be rich!"

NO; IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT, AT ALL.

How to recover from an IP BAN ----> Full system format, including full windows reset. Change your IP, MAC address, HDids. Redownload all clients from new accounts in new battlenets.
Forget about BAIT ACCOUNTS. You have 10 accounts and only 8 have been banned....how lucky, ain't it? It is not. Stay away from using these accounts in your new system. Don't use the old guilds. Get rid of their gold and things if you can from a different IP and computer, or give them a LOOOOOONG break before reusing them. You won't be surprised when you see them banned without any warning or email. They are left untouched to catch you.

Good luck! Here's hoping you can find my advises useful.

Hey man, thanks alot this was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you

edit: Just one thing though, downloading so many clients would be a real pain.. my internet isnt the best, could I just keep the data folder (World of Warcraft\Data\data) in another location(flash drive) and just reuse only that just let the client repair as it contains all of the data, and I dont think there should be any user information written on there, or am I wrong?

      Glad I could help.

You could keep the data folder, or all the installation. But it is slightly illogical going through the entire reformat / changing process, and avoid that step only. Nobody knows where Blizz stores user information, it's all speculation. Data is heavily encrypted, and it would make sense from a security pov to backup information so it is not just in the common folders (battle net , agent folders, obvious choices) but also somewhere else in the instalation.

I wouldn't if I were you. But there is no definite answer to that!
