If I would play WoW on my main account without any bots or whatever and simultaneously play another account running a bot is my main account in danger of being banned should the second, botting account get detected?
Very good question. I think it depends of method they choose to detect a bot. If scanning memory then all accounts may fall down. If searching for hooks or something then only bot account. Even if they detect bot only on the real bot account, they can link your main as it is on the same machine, IP etc. I strongly suggest to not do it.
Question answered maybe 1000 times already here. The answer is NO ONE can answer this 100%. Normally blizz only bans the botting account but in fact they can ban you for whatever and whenever they like so if you want to be safe then never have your normal account connected in any way with your botting account meaning no gold transfer, no group botting, not the same IP address and so on...
YES, is in danger of being banned, specially if you're running your bot acc under the same bnet/ip/computer and you Trade/AH/MailInGame between both
personally i've been trading between my bot accounts and botting on the same licence, never had my main touched. But you read alot of stories of people getting their non botted accounts banned. Nothing is ever safe.
berlyn90, you can use any kind of VPN and proxy but you can be temporary banned for using such thing. It is not officialy supported by them and its not against. Just separate you bnet accounts, use VPN and dont trade each other so offten. You can also make some ,,social life'' (add some friends and trash talk to them) on this bot accs. Gold laundering would be nice.
