HB launches as it normally does up until this "Honorbuddy v2.6.15695.836 started. Logging in..." Its been doing this for 2 days now. Log Attached
Currently we are waiting for an update (due to a WoW update) so i would wait for the next version/revision then do a clean install. other things to try are, reboot windows, disable firewall.
Any clue when an update is expected? The WoW patch was pretty small. I can't imagine much code would have to be re-written.
Small patch doesn't necessarily mean a quick update. It depends what was changed, and I'd imagine they also have to check if new detection code was ninja'd in. However your problem seems to be unrelated to the patch, especially since the patch hit <12 hours ago.
Uninstalled old version of Honorbuddy (836), Downloaded and installed the new version (837). Restarted PC, and still having the same problem. "Honorbuddy v2.6.15695.836 started. Logging in..." New log attached.
Just tried power cycling. Same thing still happens. Same log too. It is the updated version v.837 "Honorbuddy v2.6.15695.836 started. Logging in..." This message was just a cut and copy from an earlier post right before v.837 went live. This is the message I should've copied. "Honorbuddy v2.6.15733.837 started. Logging in..." My apologies. Thanks for the help so far. Hopefully we can get it lined out.

clear your cache and let me know plz http://wiki.thebuddyforum.com/index.php?title=Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:Cache_corruption_problems
You'll have to look over me because I haven't deleted my HB cache in awhile, but I don't see the cache folder under the HB file location. Also, view hidden files and folders are enabled. I do remember deleting the cache folder just before the pre-patch. Any advice? Edit: Also just tried deleting the HB folder, and uninstalling some HB residue file using control panel. Did a clean install, and still no cache folder visible.
