Ulduam Mailbox

I have no clue where to post suggestions/questions/notes to the ones who actually code this bot.. But is there any Good reason why Gatherbuddy doesnt use the mailbox in Ramkahen? Such a loss of time that it has to fly AAAAALLL the way to silithus when it could just use the one in Ramkahen : D?

First, don't bump your threads. Second, GB hard codes everything so I'm sure the next release will have a mailbox in it.

 

Hawker mentioned something about it being a prime gank spot on PvP servers.

 

im pretty sure this mailox was added later, prob that's why its not coded.

And about it being a gankspot, i play on many different server never had issues in that area for vendoring or standing there afk..

 

If you get attacked in town the guards come save you and pretty much kill the other player pretty quick

 

It is a gank spot...at least on my pvp server. Cant stand around more than a few seconds without a rogue or druid on ya

 

Hawker specifically said if a ranged person is sitting on a building, the guards can't get to them, so they can sit there all day.

Also, if you have the option, use GB2 for HB2, it is working pretty flawlessly, and you can have it use whatever mailbox you want (I use the one in Uldum right now).

 

Still doesn't make sense at all. Obviously your wow will turn off when bags are full so you might as well "attempt" to go to the mailbox and keep going rather than just shut down. If you don't want it to mail anyways the people who dont want to attempt to get pvp'd all they have to do is uncheck "mail loot to alt"

 

Same. Works fine. Only reason I went from GB to GB2 =) (no, not on a PVP server)

 

There's nothing wrong with taking a 3 minute detour to GUARANTEE your safety versus hoping you don't get killed and waiting out the 10 minutes res sickness.

 

Detour? When my bags are full GB tries to go to the FP in the northern area and just sits there then shuts down

 

yes it flies to silithus. get the fp from areas around uldum

 

I'm pretty unhappy with the current way of mailing stuff as well anyway.. I usually find mine stuck in silithus trying to get from the flightmaster to the mailbox.

I'm on a pvp server, tho theres only like MAX 5% active alliance, so seeing one is amazingly rare so i surely wouldnt mind using this mailbox At all.

 

I'm still unhappy with the current mail/repair thing... Just found my bot dced stuck in the wall in cenarion hold trying to get to the mail box and repair guy..

 

allready restarted it so debug is gone, I'll remember it next time it does it.. Doesnt happen all the time, its like 1/5 runs it does it, really wierd.
