You have to edit the xml file Y2's seasonal event folder in notepad or something equivalent. Look for the user configuration section.

 

Hello y2krazy. Thanks for the awesome profiles like usual.

On the Yokai profile, when you die, the minion is not summoned again. It works fine when starting the profile. This is the one "Blizzaria" in Outer La Noscea. I read in the notes it was fixed in version 1.0.1. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

You're very welcome! It's a randomly-timed check done via a While loop. It's not the cleanest or most reliable to keep a minion out 24/7, but it will eventually perform a summoned minion check. If you notice the minion you need is missing, a simple Stop => Start will cause the check to be done right away.

Keeps trying to change to CNJ, I don't know why. I changed to CNJ and the bot wants to grind some random stuff. I figured it must've been an error with SMN class quest at 35 so I did it by hand but the problem still persists. Any help would be appreciated, I googled around and looks like this has happened before but no fix!

 

1) The "official" questing pack is not my work, so to keep things organized, I would post in that thread from now on.
2) If it's spamming that line, you may need to manually purchase the Item Id found in that CodeChunk. You can look up the Item Id on XIVDB - Final Fantasy XIV Online (FFXIV ARR) Database to see which item it is.

 

Hi y2krazy, looks like there is an issue around the "Sense of Urgnecy" quest (67129). I am thinking it is a pathing problem to get to the first NPC listed. I manually complete the first NPC and click start and the rest takes off normally. Not sure if your planning on fixing these or not, just figure I should report it.

Thank you for the report, but not much I can do without the revised data. I don't have a character to find this out on my own at this time. I don't mind updating my profiles, but if I'm not in a position to do so with a character of my own, I'll either need access to someone's character, or the revised data to replace it with. Alternatively, as some have already done, you can create a pull request with the correct data and upon acceptance, it can be directly merged into my repo. I think with this I would have to force the character off mesh for a little bit to get there. I think that might be the problem. I have another character that is almost there, if I get the chance to rewrite that part, Ill do a pull request.

 

Thanks. UseMesh="False" is a property for the MoveTo tag, so you may have to add that in there before the EmoteNPC tag. Will keep an eye out for it, but no rush! Thanks!

Trying to use the Yo kai watch medals profile and it says you havent selected anything to farm even though i filled out the xml config part. I put the number of medals of each i wanted to farm where noted, and tried a 0 and a 1 on the regular medals since i dont need them. Anything gets me the same result of the profile throwing an error. Even if i delete the xml, redownload it and open it and change a a medal entry to 1 then save and run still gives the error.

Edit: I fixed this myself but ill leave the post up in case anyone has the issue, you need to install exbuddy for the yo kai medals profile to work. grab it from here GitHub - MGramolini/ExBuddy and download the zip file and unzip it into your plugins folder.

 

Can "the rising quest" be set to farm "meteor shower"?

 

It can, but due to my limited time lately, I will not be adding a farm profile/section. You can purchase more Meteor Showers from the nearby Rising Vendor for 19 Gil each.

 

I just tried the Yokai Watch profile so I don't know much, I set up the required part regarding the medals and so on, but i noticed something different - is it normal for the bot to kill every aggro it gets on the chocobo? it takes ages to arrive to the Fate.

 

While it's not optimal, that's how dark_wolf set up the Fate tag, I believe. Not sure if I'll have time to modify it to avoid agro'd mobs before the event is over.

 

thank you for the reply. the bot behaviour is very good, thank you for that do i have to use some specific plugin? i left it running overnight and seems that Repaer is giving some problems and maeks the bot to stop.

I am very fascinated though by the whole project. i'll have a look at the guides, i would like to learn and make some profiles too
