HB is loading tiles 30 minutes and still can't load them !
ehh I'm little tired of this last 3 releases and loosing my hope that hb and gb was right choice

 

Agreed, all this loading and unloading of tiles is a performance problem--especially for questing.

Its frustrating when you see it load dozens and dozens of tiles, calculate a path, then unload them. Then, it gets into one fight or some other situation, and decides to recalculate that path again--requiring the loading of the same dozens of tiles.

The number of tiles loaded is a direct function of the distance Honorbuddy needs to travel. The speed at which this is accomplished is both a function of your disk and your CPU. I've had to wait several minutes many times myself to get where I'm going--even on a reasonably-powered machine with an SSD.

Thankfully, most profiles don't force Honorbuddy to traverse large distances. But, some unavoidably do.

As a workaround, if you know where the profile is trying to take you, stop Honorbuddy, move into the appropriate zone, then restart Honorbuddy. This should shorten the path-finding process, at the penalty of re-evaluating where you are in the questing profile, which itself can take minutes. Its kind of a catch-22, but more than 10 minutes is waaay too long to be waiting in any case.

My pc hangs every hotspot and tested previous versions of honorbuddy and they are fine it's 3956 where it hangs while running to hotspots

 

can i use 3881 version or this version is detected ?
i prefer ancient version in BG

 

NO versions are detected.

 

What I do, now that HB will properly wait for taxi and not go nuts trying to cast or move, I just stop the bot, select the flight path to where it wants to go and then start, the bot will wait til it lands then recalculate a new route.

 

where is the default badnodes folder for gb2?

 

There isnt one. You now have to use Blacklist instead of Badnodes, and this is found within the GB2 profile you are using.

There is a distinct lack of information regarding how and what to use on each release, and it's getting annoying. I had to find the answer to what you've asked through a member of the community, and it's not the first time I've had to ask the community for help regarding HB / GB matters. Can we please PLEASE have some proper, concise information in one place on how to use what we pay for. Release notes are great, but not everyone has used HB from 5 releases ago when X needed to be done, or you need to do Y to make Z happen. This is not an attempt to flame, but an abjective and sensible solution to an annoying problem. Thanks

Ok so im still having a looting issue on my hunter. Hes mauling the crap out of mobs 2 or 3 at a time in twilight highlands yet he goes to loot then wanders off to kill another mob that has come within range (mines only set to 25 currently as i was hoping to stop this shit happening). He will eventually get around to looting once he has killed everything within a 100 miles radius it seems then wonmders off to kill again before skinning. I have ninja skinning on, my settings are 25 pull radius, 80 loot radius, still finding it difficult to grind when i cant even get him to loot and skin stuff. Hes 85 so i dont really need to just let him loose to kill hey.

Oh and the pet aggro thing is still stupid.. As im using FPS's default (supposedly) CC i am assuming he updated what ever code raphus mentioned last release.

 

cancel the refund lol managed to kinda sort it out, it grinds fine but not much else
removed the experimental stuck fix and it no longer runs around in circles
ticked the autoloot function in wow and it now loots all mobs
still have issues with questing, it goes to flightmasters but never anywhere else, could be my fault not having some flightpaths, surely it should run though? have unticked use flight paths for now and alls well

I love the logic that it now will blacklist a node after 3 unsuccessful attempts, but it seems that it is a bit overly cautions, ive watched it land on a node, attempt once, then get into combat, kill the mob (one shot it was a low lvl mob) then fly away claiming that it tried 3 times. Is this a bug? or does the # of attempts logic need to be looked at? I'll try to get a good log, the one I have is huge due to an addon error spamming my log all night...

and does this give gatherbuddy for free or something?

 

hmm, ive been having alot of trouble with this new update, but then i deleted my HBmesh folder, then its running really smoth!
