      Hi there,

in LK I mostly farmed herbs and made darkmoon decks, I plan to do the same now with cataclysm. Back in northrend, the most efficient zone for farming herbs for milling was without any discussion Sholazar Basin - you got a shitload of herbs and eternal life and the enemys didn't tend to attack you due to the level difference.

What do you guys think is the Sholazar Basin of cataclysm?

So far I've tried out Hyjal, Uldum and the Twilight Highlands, and none really seems to stand out the way SB did in LK.

depends on your server.. best is to try 24hours in every zone and compare.

Zones that work for us, might be highly farmed on your server.

best judge is the AH you just have to check the prices on everything. Like said above i could get 50g for a ore you only get 30g for

My best farming spot is way down in the abyss, I can farm there for a few hours maybe go into combat 3 or 4 times and get roughly 20 stacks of herbs. Give or take of course. I gave up on twilight highlands, too much phasing, buggy nodes and over all way more combat then i like to see while botting. Deepholme is pretty nice too, as for hyjal it's easy mode if you just looking for herbs for milling purposes.

I do twilight highlands, i've done all the quests so there is no phasing and blacklisted the glitched node in the air. Gets about 15 stacks in an hour and a half since my server is pretty low pop / noone cares about farming. Reason they sell for so much on my server to.

That's good for you because if they don't farm how do they get there gold? They buy it. Now you just gatta be the one they buy it from

well if ya wanne make them epic cards, your better of Twilight Highlands I guess, them Twilight Jasmine gief like 50% chance to drop Burning Embers. While them other herbs give 25%, as far as I know, chance on burning embers:)

      ^^THIS^^

Whiptail and Twilight Jasmine both have a 50% chance to give Burning Embers once milled, whereas all the others have a 25%.
Therefore, I would suggest Uldum/Twilight Highlands if you be milling :)

As for the scribe thing for herbs i say where ever u can get the most/time because you can still trade 10 blackfallow ink for inferno ink. Also I find Vash'ir best money maker on my server so far. No one farms Azshara Veil there and Im reaping the benefits....Purely server dependant though!!!

I like Uldum for Whiptail. It's a fairly small circuit and the mobs are a couple of levels below me (83ish) so makes for a quick easy fight should I get in combat, and it sells well too

i suggest stop Telling people where to farm and let them find out themselves ^_^ Cause all you Amature botters are ganna be complaining later on how theres to many bots in This zone or that zone ;)

YEa sure you want to help people. So helpem with technical stuff. Telling people where to bot only hurts yourself.

Just a suggestion for those on realms where herbs/ores are constantly being farmed by other bots, try herbing/mining in older areas like Northrend!

You should check the prices of other herbs/ores and see what is in low stock and high in price, after a few days you should get a feel for what sells.

Granted you will probably not get as much gold per stack, but you can farm these herbs a lot faster because you will be the only one farming them and will likely end up with more gold/hour depending on how bad it is on your server. I do this on my herbalist when it s overcrowded, I just go to northrend and farm and check back once in a while so I can get cata herbs when it is less crowded. I'm also a scribe and just transfer inks down to the lower equivalents anyways, so this is a good alternative source of herbs for scribes if you have one.
