      Ever since an update to rebornbuddy last week or so, FFXIV stutters and framerates fluctuate between 60 and 5 constantly whenever I hit the "start" button on rebornbuddy - this seems to be independent of what profile / bot I am using.

      This consistently happens. I even tried a clean install of rebornbuddy and attempted to use the fish bot and it continued to stutter. There doesn't seem to be anything useful in the logs.

      Can anyone please help?

      Do you have "Limit frame rate when client is inactive." checked in ff14?

      yeah I do. I turned it off and it didn't seem to resolve the problem

      I change the drop down box on load up from "Best Latency" to "North America" and it seemed to have fixed the problem

      Started happening again after I updated today. However, this time its doing it regardless of whether I have it on "Best Latency" or "North America"

      That setting only effects where you authenticate, it has nothing todo with how the bot runs after that. Try turning down your video settings.

      I have the same problem i guess.

      Every time RB selects a new target before starting a combat, everything becomes super slow for a number of seconds and then back to normal. It repeat every time a new enemy is focused and when combat is about to start. As previous speaker mentioned, is started a few days ago with the new updates. I tried to change from "best latency" to "North America" but it still behave the same way.

      I have decent computer and graphic card 970GTX, and i lowered the GUI settings but nothing helps. Never had any similar issue before.

      3rd party routines/ botbases are not supported. If you can reproduce the issue with kupo, let me know.

      It works OK with Kupo, so I guess it's coming from Lisbeth botbase.

      I don't see how it's a graphics issue for me.
      The first time it occurred, somehow changing from "Best Latency" to "North America" fixed the problem and was reproducible if I changed it back to "Best Latency". Now the same issue occurs regardless of whether I choose "Best Latency" or "North America".
      I tried turning down the graphics all the way down and it had no effect on the stutter. Also, I have been using rebornbuddy for several years now without this issue and haven't changed my graphics settings in the game.
      Also, the lag/stutter seems to be worse when rebornbuddy is sending/receiving info from the game - eg. when I'm fishing with rebornbuddy, it lags very significantly when casting the line and also reeling it in, with small intermittent lags in between.

      From a cursory glance, that log doesn't contain anything abnormal.

      The only thing that dropdown does is select which region auth server to use. The code gets run on an entirely separate thread from everything else, and as such should have no impact whatsoever on what the bot is doing. Furthermore the work being done on that thread is minimal, and only every few minutes. I cannot even begin to imagine how it would impact the performance of the game or the bot.



      The only thing I can think of suggesting is trying rb64 and see if it works normally.

      Since very few things have changed with rb lately, and what has changed as been isolated to certain quest behaviors I believe an external factor outside our control is causing your issues

      A list:

      1)Malware
      2)Antivirus
      3)Drivers out of date
      4)Incorrect game settings
      5)Windows 10 dvr
      etc etc.

      If checking the mentioned items don't help, then I don't know how to help you.
