What I'm trying to say is the injection method has to be almost the exact same every time or not unique enough that it's blatantly obvious. You literally have 0% of ever surviving. I just don't know why they continue to offer services for something that WILL 100% get you banned regardless of precautionary measures taken. I work for another cheat provider and if the detections were so consistent regardless of what you do, we wouldn't even bother. Simply a cash grab.

Silly rabbit. Most of us wait until there is a $5 sale then we buy however many we think will last a year. If in that year you make enough gold for gametime, extra cash or extra accounts then all good. If not then you have lost maybe $200-300 over the year. Which breaks down to what? $25/month at most or so? You can spend more than that in a week on beer or starbucks. Sure there are people that spend more or less but very few buy WoW or the latest and greatest expac at full price.

Full time farmers can make more than enough to cover the cost though. And even casual botters who only have 1 or 2 accounts don't, or shouldn't, use actual cash for gametime. That's what the tokens are for ;) And if you can't afford to lose 1 or 2 accounts for fun and replace them then simply botting is not for them :)

It's also pretty obvious that Blizzard's detections like this occur over a relatively small window of time. Like the last few weeks have been an obvious occasion where they were doing detection protocols but accounts not used in that window seem for the most part to be safe. That alone tells you it's not a 100% detection rate.

Not to mention some (like me) already have stocked on $5 sales and already have multiple accounts set up ready to go :p

You can try but so far those that have reported back have shown that Blizzard is maintaining a hard stance on most cases.

Still you lose nothing by trying.

Depends on the legal system you have. Blizzard have working into the EULA and privacy sections that you let them collect such data for the purposes of countering cheating, hacking and 3rd party botting programs. By agreeing to it and providing it is enforceable in your location you really don't have a leg to stand on in terms of the law.

im guessing its the pathing system that HB uses and blizzard has started to track common paths taken.

When a profile runs from hot spot A to B, Honorbuddy will run in the direction for the givin hot spot. It will then determine on the fly with its "avoidance algorithm" when it needs to avoid certain obstacles to get to its giving hot spot. Problem with this is, the more people that run the same profile, or even is just getting from zone C to B it will inevitable create a pattern. If there are multiple people running completely different profiles, if they all avoid, for example, the same tree, it will be the same path. I know the HB team is using some sort of off set value so exactly same inputted hot spots have a variance between them, but i doubt the "avoidance system" has that in place as well. I'm positive that i'm not the only one who has watched there bot avoid an obstacle the same way 1000 times.(could be wrong, alot of speculation in this post)

It would be pretty reasonable to assume by blizzard that if 1,000+ characters ran across, for example, <Hotspot X="-683.6219" Y="6010.679" Z="1.811625" /> the exact same way, they are all bots and should be banned.

TLDR: Blizzard is proably tracking paths you take and banning ones that are similar.

Oh definately. And not just the paths profiles use. They could look at users that are taking the same paths whilst running a 32 bit client and using click to move to further narrow it down.

It's been said before but lets just appreciate how all four of these banwaves happened exactly, almost to the day SIX MONTHS APART.

The people from previous wave last may are just now getting unbanned. a couple days after the next one.

All i can say is, next april... STOP BOTTING for a month or two lol.

But can we confirm that the detection window has been around the same time?

Yeah, but in this case I found the bot taking some odd paths to get from A to B. Nothing ban or anything like that. It would also go stupidly close to certain obstacles which most people wouldn't do. Which makes me wonder if it was the same for others. And then if enough people were using an odd pathway it doesn't help us hide the bot behavior.

After the 4th ban,i now raise the white flag and move on, this product is detectable, and it's been proven now for the 4th time.
every 6 month a bot sweeping by blizzard. It was a fun ride but it's not worth to start all over again.
Also i think also that people with the 'million of bot's' they are running just for gold selling and filling their wallet, are hurting the botters who only bot for the rotations.Triggering blizzard to force to ban.But that's my personal opinion.

Anyway i take my 4th defeat an move on haha :D

Yeah, i got my 3rd ban with Honorbuddy. This is not fun anymore. Time to realize: this bot not safe. It's bannable every 6 months.

      They got me...

I started playing wow on 2005. I bought HB on 2012 and open a secondary account on same BNet. Since then I bot permanent few hours per day. Even when I raid I have other account farming. I am not selling gold, all used for personal use.

I have all buy able battle pets, all mounts, every expansion I have all craftable gear in the first days. Never got a problem until now when I got a 6 months suspension. Had to come at some point. I was boting rotation, WQ, herbalism with 2 wows running on same time.

I am not upset, I saved so much time for RL using HB while keep up with the wow life :). I will not stop boting, if they will perma ban, so be it. I was studend when I started playing wow, not I have a wife and kids, no time for stupid flower clicking. Playing just for meeting my friends.

I only logged in for roughly an hour a day with just cr doing some quests the past weeks - i even interrupt by myself and do the moving. I only did let the bot do the rotation and on top of that i do stuff inbetween so its not 100% the same rotation all time.
I believed that Blizz can detect those 100% accurate keystrokes and rotations - but i guess i was wrong. It seems to be the programm itself that is detectable somehow.

10 years without a ban and now i got hit for using a cr (light) ...i did so much heavy botting over the years and always dodged it.

In the case of mass automated detection it really doesn't matter how little you did, they caught your bot attached to their process(es) sort of like a restricted to wow memory AV scan, flagged you, and poof there goes 6+ months. We have to wait and see what can be learned from it. Just be glad they don't seem to be able to manage detailed heuristics too well.
