how many of you are quitting the game for good??? sell my PC???

this thread is for those people who bot the game for fun cos u still enjoy the game but just want to bot away the boring part, if u are botting for money, then no doubt u would already gotten a new account and bot on.

there is something very different in legion compare to some of the previous Xpac. there are a lot of time gated character progress that u cannot bot away. for example in previous Xpac like MoP and WoD, if u get banned and got a new account, u simply bot ur toon to max level, (4-5 days), and then spend 1.5 day botting in BG and ur toon will be pretty much back to where u were before in terms of gear level. or u can do a mix of grinding at Timeless Isle/Tanaa Jungle for half a day and ur done. there is no real character progress that's time gated. except for the MoP/WoD legendary quest line and WoD pathfinder which isn't that bad. as for profession, u simply grind for a day and u have enough mats to get ur toons max profession level.

so pretty much u can get everything for ur toon from level 1, in under 10 days, with minimum human playing.

now this Legion is very different, the class hall has order advancement that takes time, the class Champaign has time gated missions that will take weeks to complete. finally the most important is artifact power, I know u can bot world quest but it's pretty broken atm and u cannot really bot world quest AFK. Suramar quest line is not supported yet and very broken so u gotta do that by hand as well. and a lot of those things u need to play by hand. and don't even get into the profession, I've noticed in legion a lot of people are ditching profession as its too time consuming and complicated with the quests and ranks no longer the good old times u just bot the mats and go.
all in all, if u open a new account now, it will take A LOT of real human playing time to barely catch up with ur old. and when u do catch up u'll just get banned again and start all over again. what's the fucking point now.

what do u reckon? if not because legion has so much time-gated character progression and non-botable content. i'd have bought a new account right away, but with this. I think I'm done with it cos I havn't played for a week and I don't miss it. because I am working now 2 jobs and also want to enjoy life, there is no way in the fucking world i'd spend time on wow to do the same thing again.

finally, 6 years ago I've purchased an i7 PC, it's 1st gen i7, with 6gb ram, SSD, GTX770 with 24" screen, and good case with good PSU. I am currently thinking about ditching the whole system and just use my laptop. as I don't play any other games and bought the PC only to play WoW. right now there is nothing i do with the PC that i can't do on laptop. not sure if i would sell it, and do i get more money to sell as a system or split into parts?

After thinking about it for a few days, I decided to put a new key on the same bnet account, and continue as I always have. 100% ban chance eventually, but by the time the ban wave rolls around, my other account will be released. Then? Continue on as usual

 

so u got the 6 months ban. well I got the 18 months ban as the account was banned before for 6 months. wherever adding a new key on the same b.net account increase the chance of ur ban is still unknown. the advantage u get is u get all ur mounts and pets, and achievement. (eg. legion pathfinder). but u'll still need to make progress on ur toon, which is very time consuming atm.

problem is that's gonna cost u another $70+. fucking blizzard knows this, banning botters they will just buy new account. since 99% the botters has so much gold they can afford to buy game time with gold. on one side they act like a hero banning botters. in reality they just ban botters to get more $$ when we buy new key. spending $70+ on a new key is not that much money. but time u need to spend to redo the things u already done is fucked up. the Illidan quest line is a huge thing as well. if u want to chase the storyline and content of the game. YouTube or twitch is your friend, and it's more time efficient lol. anyway I really think I'm done.

 

It's not hard to start over again 1-2 weeks and you have 830-840ilvl again mabye less if you geek hc's and mythics.

If i get a ban now i just dont care cuz its just 35eur..

 

every game token is costing someone 20us. so blizz gets paid even more than a sub for each botter buying game time with gold.
