I just logged into one of my fairly new wow accounts that were banned 10 days ago in the first banwave. The bans have been changed to permanent on all three accounts Logged into account settings
If they were suicide farming account, there is a reason for this. Initially they were obviously detected. But Blizzard are known for rolling their anti-farming batch ban scripts on timed basis on all those accounts, flagged in the last timewindow for botting activity. And as we know, all the herb-gathering bots were receiving solid bans recently, not suspensions.
Where do you see this? I logged in to my battlenet account and it says this: Account Name WoW1 Account Status Suspended Game Time WoW Token Game Time Expires: 25/11/2016 13:31 Does it mean perma ban? I know it was until May 2017. Not that it matters, it was just a farming account.
why are people spreading anti farm propaganda even people with CR's got banned.......Bot is detected.
Banned during "detection banwave": Suspension Banned cause of Server/Manual review for sucide botting: Permban When the big banwave hit for example i got a couple of accounts perm banned like 20 minutes before the "supension banwave" hit
Which is actually pretty true since the Bot-Trains in legion caused a pretty bad situation for blizz so they had to shut it down.
Well they were not suicide accounts. Where did you get this information about 'anti-farming batch ban scripts'? Is there going to be an update on what the situation is with HB from the developers? Still silence.
The information is all around, no need have studied rocket science to get the picture, if you were monitoring the ban forum section before / between the banwaves. But if you were waiting for official stance from Blizzard poster, you would never receive it for obvious reasons.
The blanket suspension email states that some items and currency obtained from this activity will be removed. Maybe after the suspension wave they started going through the suspended accounts to pick out the farmers and ultimately just perma banned ones that had massive resources like herbs? Just a potential thought / question
I saw the same shit "This World of Warcraft account has been permanently closed and is no longer available for use." So just in case, I called customer service to check it out and their staff told me it's actually 6 month but their system always show us that permanently ban thing. To make sure everything is fine, so I checked it again with one of my friends, he saw the same shit on his account, but it's also 6 month in fact. So no worries, it's 6 month.
Mine still says suspended and doesn't have any permanently closed verbiage at all so them saying their system always shows the permanently banned thing doesn't seem correct
Same here..Maybe tech support is just telling them its 6 months to make them feel better. Mine still states till may.
