The meta has shifted, it is countering midrange shamans now, so the shaman (MR) matchups are getting tougher, especially against rogues. Thus I've switched to playing aggro shaman now to reach legend in standard.
I need more then that. What deck were you using and what behavior? Please also check that you don't have "Keep constructed Rank /MMR" enabled. It's under Default Bot settings. There might be some other versions of the existing shaman decks, that are better in the current meta. I'm testing a jade-midrange shaman and another aggro shaman with doomhammers right now. DragonPir has only gotten me to Rank 8. I really want to try out the aggro shaman, but I need Aya. Whats the fastest way to farm packs?
Rank 5 to rank 8 this night with my mid cham who hit rank 5 two days ago ... This night i ll run dragon priest , i think it's the better option with the end saison meta and bot mechanics .
To make this clear for everyone: Use PLAggro only with aggroShaman and pirateWarrior. For all other one's use PLControl. The reasons are simple: 1. Mulligan 2. Settings, like attacking face with weapon 3. The behaviors are completely different, for instance in PLAggro the bot won't trade a 7/7 into a 4/3 etc. Here are my test results for the new aggroShaman I mentioned: Almost hit rank 4, but then lost a few games witch made him derank to 6 and later back to 5.... I didn't test the new midShaman, but I'm sure it will do better then the old one. Download latest update Update10! added two more decks: Midrange-Jade Shaman and another version of Aggro Shaman: Click (need more testing on them to say witch versions are better - tech choises are in the pictures as usual) added/updated some mulligan rules tweaked the Sir Finley priority list tweaked code for trading with minions into others some more added penalities for Rockbiter Weapon added small base penality prioritize targets with windfury never use on targets that are not ready added penality to attack with Doomhammer if we have a playable Rockbiter Weapon in hand fixed some bugs in earlygame like not playing minions at all or bad one's instead of better one's added some code to go a bit more face vs. rogue don't attack small minions if our hero attack got buffed on that turn(don't waste the damage)
Switched the deck back to the Jade version of Shaman agro and changed Berserk back to 0, ended night at R10 36/79. So notably better but still not at 50%. Also I noticed in your update you mention "added penality to attack with Doomhammer if we have a playable Rockbiter Weapon in hand" are you using an agro Shaman deck list thats running Rockbiter?
From rank 8 to rank 5 overnight with Dragon Warrior on PLControl. 44 wins / 33 losses. Pretty good 57% winrate right there!
Well I finally got there! Fun fact, even with a less than 50% win rate, because of the "winstreak" bonus you can still rank up. I used this deck in wild mode, aggro setting. Only really big misplays I've seen have been it using pirate before putting out Ship's Cannon. But in the long run it doesn't mater much.
I usually don't support wild, but many people requested to fix ship's cannon so I'll add it in the next update
That's cool. Thanks! Some of the best plays are just waiting til turn 2 to play cannon, then turn three throw out pirates. Also, wild seems like the easiest place to bot in. It's extremely easy from 25 - 10. And from 10 - 5 you just have to apply brute force with an aggro deck. But currently there isn't much in wild that just immediately wins against pirate warrior. Every game feels very 50/50 as to who will win.
