Hi Guys I am new to these forums and botting in general, a friend reccomended here to me , and i was just wondering is there a thread to get up and running with both HB and GB and if i make a 2nd wow account in my name if it gets banned would my main acc also get banned ? as i would like to use the bot acc to level my chars then move to my main acc when finished ( if this is possible) any advice would be great guys as i am very new to this, thanks in advance.
Guides That is the guide section of our forums.. I would take a while to skim through a lot of it. Also, there is always a chance of being caught or them linking your accts. You just have to be smart about Botting. To be safe I keep it to about 6 to 8 hours a night. Hope this helped.
As long as they do not run on the same computer, you are fine. Fine means 99 % fine. No one knows blizzard and its heuristic detection, it changes continuous.
If you are going to make a new account have a completely different email, battle.net account, and everything. When I do my accounts, the only thing that links me to those accounts is my IP address. I personal do not even use the same credit card to pay for account info on battle.net. Just in case Blizzard feels froggie that day for some odd reason! But Caddy is right, there is alot of guides that you can get info from and even if you have a question. Google is a place to start searching for your answers. (But only a start!) MEDIC
Hi thanks for the quick reply guys, i didnt even see the guides section lol i am not good with forums I will have a look through it now tho, and thanks for the advice with the diff battle.net accounts i planned to do this but with the same name so that i could transfer at a later stage, could doin this result in a ban on both acc ? yeah i dont plan to bot to often jus a few hours per night, sorry for the silly questions
Why don't you bot while playing your main account, this is what I do mostly. The advantage is that you can answer every whisper that you receive so the chance for reporting you as a bot might be very low. In addition my 2 bots are tunneling through a proxy so they have a different IP than your main account.
yeah that is the idea im gonna bot on a 2nd account while i play my main , I am stuck in uni atm when i get out im going to buy a battlechest and an authenticator then hb/gb when i get home , i am just worried i will have issues setting it up, but one question i am really unsure of is if both accounts are in my name on a different battle.net acc would i be able to transfer from the botting acc to my main acc ? thanks again for the quick replies guys its very helpful
Only the last name need to be the same on the two different accounts. I have a few differnt accounts, all with the same last name that I use to level toons and then transfer to my main acocunt. So far no issues. All have different battle net accounts, all paid for differently, the only link is that transfer of a toon. I have had leveling accounts suspended and even banned days after doing a transfer and never an issue on my main. I keep the first names on the accounts all different just in case something happens and they suspend/ban my main for the transfer I can fall back and say a family member gave me one of their toons and I paid the transfer fee, no idea it was done with an unauthorized program. This type of a ban is less likley I would think simply because "your" account was not botted and once a toon is transfer it is treated as a fresh character and there is no history between it and the botted account anymore. However, as Bossland said earlier, you should not run both instances of WOW on the same computer at the same time while botting. If yo do that, you may as well be botting on your main. Use a seperate computer to bot from or only have the botted instance of WOW running if the second comp is not an option.
ok guys i am almost ready to go i have jus purchased lifetime acc , however it says i have not paid yet , the money is showing as held on my bank acc , any ideas on how long it normally takes to go through ? i wanna get up and running asap ** it has now showing as complete time to get goin thanks again !!
Im sure Bossland has to accept the money and upgrade your account, be patient he is a busy person Also welcome to the community
he must have accepted it quick because i am up and running already, starting a new toon and working well so far very easy to set up , very impressed
