[Order Bot] Quests, Quests and Quests!

XD I've seen it now, now I'm using [O] A Realm Reborn (Immortal Flames), but can you jump into the quest of my level?

 

The profile was created for leveling, so it has Sidequests sprinkled quite often throughout the MSQ's. If you want to skip all the Sidequests, you'll need to remove them from the profile in your text editor of choice.

 

Restarting quest chain?

I haven't found an answer yet, but i started the bot on a maurader at lvl 20+. it keeps doing old quests which is fine, but if the bot has to restart or if FF14 crashes, when i re-run the bot, it runs through all the old quest area's again?

I should probably clarify, bot runs through old quests areas to npc's then just moves on. would like it to restart where i left off last.

There a way to make it restart where it left off?

 

That depends. Did you start that character as a MRD, or swap classes?

Also, please post a full log .txt file.

 

Sorry, misinformation on last post. Started as a MRD, got it to lvl 21, leveling GLA now. GLA is lvl 23. Log is only gonna have stuff from running it this morning. I tried a reinstall of RB thinking that may be the issue.

Seems like the bot cant tell what quests are done so it starts with "checking lvl 1 quests" and son on.

EDIT: I got it to work by deleting all the pre-15 quests, now whenever i load the bot it will go through checking lvl 16,17,18,19,20 and quickly move on to keep going vs the pre 15 profile it actually runs to every location which takes forever

 

Ok so previously I was having a problem with the bot running back and forth between some points in Limsa Lominsa in the Arcanist guild. It appeared to be trying to to class quests when I had none available. After that I decided to do some questing on my own and I hit level 21 recently. I'm on the quest Unsolved Mystery, and I've moved the character right next to the location for the quest and now I'm getting what's attached.

As an aside, the bot has never worked for me besides it doing class related quests. I've tried reinstalling everything, triple checking SVN's, etc. I could be doing something obviously wrong, which I hope is the case at this point.

Is there a way to turn off Side quests and just focus on the Main Story Quests? I looked in the XML file but I didn't see such a line. Thanks for your time!

 

If you swapped classes and the other class has a different starting City-state, it will check the starting City-state quests for the class you changed to (GLD), which you never completed since you started as a MRD. You'll need to delete the entire Lv1-15 section and it should work fine.

Sounds like you're having the same issues as above. Did you change classes after starting? If so, was it to a class that has a different starting City-state?

You will need to manually remove all Sidequests within the profile itself.

I've scrolled down and found the portion " <!-- ######## --> <!-- LEVEL 16 --> <!-- ######## --> " leaving the level 16 part and deleted everything up to but not including <BotSettings AutoEquip="1"/> Seems to be working after that.

Started the bot up and it tries to talk to a few NPCs in aleport followed by teleporting to Horizon and picks up some level 17 quests, and completeles my level 17 MSQ quest as well. Everything seems to be in order now.

Getting a error when doing Heavensward quests.

Teleports ok......just navigates in front of Yloise in Idlyshire and stops

Once you're on the proper map it's fine. Any time you get this for 419, manually move to The Pillars, please.

I had a question earlier but after I completed the level 1 CNJ quest myself the profile continued just fine until it got to the parts where you had to select yes like the Trial by Water. When you are warped to the battle the character just standards there and you have to turn off RebornBuddy because if you try to do the quest it keeps walking you back to a location which is out of range of the mobs.

After you manually complete this DoM Quest for CNJ lvl 15 you can start the profile again and it will walk you back to the Guildmaster and turn it in, but then it stops.

I'll try another log, but it stops itself.

I copied everything from the time I loaded it to the time it stopped, but I'll attach the .txt file for it.

 

So ive pinned it down to what it saying my error is but the error has nothing to do with the 2.5 quests.

It keeps running me beside minfilia in revenants toll and saying this.
