[Order Bot] Quests, Quests and Quests!

Wow! Followed you instructions and everything seems to be working as intended now. Thanks, mate! I have one unrelated question. I used honorbuddy back in the day and bg profiles almost worked perfectly. Do you know if that is in the works for rebornbuddy? I know it's a lot of work and time so it's no biggie if nothing is in the works. Again, thank you for all of your help!

Unfortunately, PvP is a very small (but active) community, so my personal suggestion would be to use some form of combat assist within PvP instead of something that controls movement for you.

 

Is there a way to skip certain quest levels? I want the bot to run lvl 57+ quests only but it wants to run lvl 52-56 sidequests to catch up before it runs the lvl 57+ ones.

 

Open the profile and search for "Checking level" and when you find the one for Lv57, delete everything above that until the <Order> opening tag.

Hi y2krazy, I'm having some issues using the class and job quests profile. I've tried it on a few classes and it always switches to the Immortal Flames leveling profile. This is from me initiating it on a 45 CUL who has not done the level 20+ job quests. Any assistance is appreciated.

 

Hi, I may have found a pathing bug with one quest in the HeavensWard profile.

My character has the quest "Sense of Urgency", and keeps getting stuck on the Foundation entrance to Coerthas Western Highlands (It's blocked off).

If I put it in Coerthas Western Highlands like it wants, it just stops immediately.

If I put it where my main quest is in Sea of Clouds it does the following:

• walks around doing some pointless stuff in sea of clouds (walking right by the quest icons multiple times)
• teleports to Foundation>Pillars
• runs into fortemps manor, talks to the steward
• teleports to foundation again>pillars
• Runs to "The Supreme sacred tribunal of halonic inquisitory doctrine" then runs out
• goes back to foundation
• Gets stuck on the locked wall leading to coerthas then spazzes out (making it look like an obvious bot!)

a player was staring at my bot as it bugged out and luckily I was watching and played it off as being a noob that was trying to get through the gate.

Edit: It does something similar on the quest "A series of unfortunate events". Spazzes out in the Foundation entrance to coerthas, potentially getting people caught as bots.

edit2: I have to keep an extra close eye on the bot because it seems to constantly get stuck on this wall many quests ahead

On a side note, do you like bug reports? I'm using your profile A LOT on multiple characters/alts so I can make a list and report a lot of bugs I find in the quests if you like.

 

Just a friendly heads-up Adventure-dreaming Porter in Idyllshire has apparently moved from whenever the Heavensward profile was made. He's now found at: 13.19904, 206.8575, 53.45227

Previous coordinates lists him as: 15.94562, 207.6, 79.11792

First mention of NPC is at line 18,233 for QuestId: 67468

There's one other mention of the NPC below that as well @ line 18,257

Found another bug on the sidequest "For All the Nights to Come" at lvl 51

After finishing the dungeon, pathing seems to break. I went to a few different zones and the bot thread kept ending immediately.

Edit: It seems to have something to do with the sidequest "Looking to the Future”. When I abandoned it, the profile started up fine. I deleted the quest from the profile and it runs now.

Edit2: Found something in the ARR 2.3 profile quest "A Sylphlands Sting" which may or may not be a bug. In this quest you talk to an npc to turn invisible, walk to a mob, and use an item on it. If you play a SCH your pet doesn't turn invisible and it aggros a mob on the way to the quest npc and the bot loses invisibility. The bot then permanently gets stuck trying to hand in the item while not invisible, and it never tries to refresh its invisibility.

How i can fix it?

 

I figured out why so many Heavensward profiles have trouble, they don't know how to teleport to Sea of Clouds. If my character isn't in Sea of Clouds the profile always will say "Stopping the bot. Reason:[GetTo] Couldn't get a path to <-626.617, -122.5, 539.8152> on 401, Stopping.". This happens with every single quest that requires teleporting there, including gathering profiles.

I've been running them no problem up until now, but I'm having an issue trying to do main scenario quests as a MCH. I don't have this issue occur if I switch back to DRG, however, as it will immediately kick back off and run as normal. I keep getting the following error:

I have reinstalled ExBuddy, as well as updated the profiles to the latest with no luck.

GetTo doesn't support NPC/object interaction yet. I'll had to add it back in to the profile.

Will this be a profile fix or a change to ExBuddy? Also, when I try to use the given URL for ExBuddy on the first post I get asked for credentials, which ends with me just downloading the zip and dropping the right files into the plugins folder. Is there a different url we should be using?
