[Bot] PoolFishingBuddy - BetaTest

Almost every single School off the coast of Uldum is broken, the bot gets stuck in a back and forth "frenzy" ascending higher and higher up.

This only happends in 1.0.14/1.0.13 not in 1.0.10.... dunno about 1.0.12 did not test.

Does not matter which profile I use.

When that is said, there is also alot of school's along the coast, that the bot skip's because it cant find anywhere to stand it seems.

Here is a log of me trying every point i found along the coast. Screenshots not included ...

Want me to make a log/sc/profile bugreport of every point or will you look into the coast your self ?

There is nothing wrong with MrFishit. But apparently you are making the more dominant fishing bot and I highly doubt he will update it to include the same features your has. So instead of having us switch bots it might be easier to just build it in. In all reality I was going to just add it myself when I get back from work later tonight anyways.

1.0.10 does not get stuck unless you have hotspot's that cross over edges near the wharf or the hills.
try this profile for Uldum coast..

set height modifier to 9. and mode to Bounce

This bot is working very smooth and I am impressed.
As someone mentioned earlier I am also very delighted to see how you handle the management and update to the project.
This is deffo something that I would be willing to pay for.

 

with 1.0.10 it happens at <Hotspot X="-10649.2" Y="1535.401" Z="7.717798" /> because it goes too close to the uldum/silithus border I guess?

I stopped fishing in Uldum because of the bug of HB. Will look into it by myself. Is it the profile you posted in #244?

Where's the log? ^^ If this happens while moving to hotspots, it's the bug raphus will have fixed with the next release of HB. Else it's the move to pool behavior Newk is talking about and I'm going to look into it now.

Newk, I know why it was freaking out at some spots and fixed it. But I need to look into multithreading now, before I can release it. Else, getting the locations to fish from will take a long time.

where would the most reliable afk pool fishing be? im trying to get the 10k fishing pools for my guild.. but usually when i come back to my computer im stuck in water? any ideas or link of profile.. i got to 2k so far just 8k more.. and still no turtle mount =D

Takes 2-3 minutes to make a profile that way ...

 

I know you are looking forward for the next release but I'm currently rewriting the whole logic of getting locations around the pools..

 

I think we'll live ... Though I don't know about my F5 button ...

 

Just something else to look at

I have attached the profile that I am using along with both logs. For some reason, the bot is trying to loot the pools rather than fish in them. It will fly into the center of the pool and just sit there until it blacklists that POI. It also tried to loot Shrine of the Falcon, which is the blackspot I added.

Well, I don't want to blame you but you have exactly the same issue like an other user who was using a crac ked version of HB and your user group isn't "Lifetimer"..

I tested your profile and it is working well for me. The bot is definitely not attempting to loot the pools! Get a valid subscription..

 

my settings are all fine and i just downloaded 1.0.15
i put into my bot folder and im able to load the bot from the bot tab in HB
it then says
"This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character!"
(red text) "object reference not set to an instance of an object"

 

Check minlevel and maxlevel tags of your profile. If your char is 85 maxlevel should be set to 86.

1.0.15 is not a public release and should only be used to report bugs of the new "move to pool behavior"..

 

If you don't want to blame me, you shouldn't use such a blatant statement to close your email. Not sure why my tag doesn't say lifetimer, I really haven't paid any attention to it previously because I saw it as a prestige thing. I don't care about that sort of crap. However, if I am going to be refused assistance and accused like this, I will correct it. Also, I didn't think that PFB is causing the issue, my HB is acting retarded and trying to loot everything it is trying to mine, herb, and loot fish pools on a skinning profile for a toon that didnt have mining or herb. One other individual had a similar issue with it trying to loot quest items in Twilight Highlands. I am going to try a fresh install tomorrow.

 

May not work for you, but I have had that fixed by clicking the recompile all button on the plugin page of HB.
