So, i've downloaded the latest version. And I am getting the same exception error output as a lot of others in this thread. I've got everything configured as noted on the front page of this thread. Not sure what I can do next, except change the path of where my Wow.exe is? Lost and confused as to what is causing this. 3/8/2010 5:55:22 PM Start Baby Sitting 3/8/2010 5:55:22 PM BabySitting Farmer 1 3/8/2010 5:55:22 PM killAndRestartWowAndBot requested 3/8/2010 5:55:22 PM KillWowAndBot requested 3/8/2010 5:55:22 PM StartFreshWowAndBotSequence requested 3/8/2010 5:55:22 PM Error Starting wow:System.ArgumentException: String cannot be of zero length. That log suggests theres a problem in passing values to the babysitter instance. I will look into it to see if i find anything out of the ordinary. Maybe it is beeing caused by some left over code or some poorly disconnected function I forgot to completely remove from callstack.
Does it have anything to do where the location of my WoW.exe lives? For the record, its the default Windows path. "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe". Also, if it helps, this is a Windows 7 OS.
I use exact same path as you, also windows 7... and i got no problems. There must be something else. Can you PM me with your configuration file? Clean your account email and password, but dont clean the rest. And why PM me? , so u dont get your server exposed. How you do this, open your configuration file, "somethingyoutyped.BSP", with notepad and copy paste into the PM window
Same problem as Zerorisk I think.. 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM Are you running BigSister as admin? 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM Admin check returns :True 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM No suitable thread was found for Babysitting, yet Watching = True 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM Beeing a good sister and hanging up the phone to watch the kids 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM BabySitting Gather 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM killAndRestartWowAndBot requested 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM KillWowAndBot requested 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM StartFreshWowAndBotSequence requested 3/9/2010 12:19:14 PM Error Starting wow:System.ArgumentException: String cannot be of zero length. I still havent found the problem. But I am working on a new version with a ton of stuff updated. Some stuff will be re-worked for speed and stability too. Maybe that fixes the problem.
cant wait!!! I really am looking forward to the version with timers, that will automatically start a new profile at a sepcified time
That might take a bit more. I am still fixing bugs. Once it is very stable, will add more options. Good foundations make a good building, ya know.
