Major update includes new stuck detection. Fixes bugs with ArchaeologyBuddy and PoolFisher bots. See the latest release.
Thanks for the hardwork and great plugin, testing it as we speak. When you say fixes archaeology do you mean when it get stuck on the fatigue walls? Also if this fixes some issues when taurens get stuck(on almost everything!) i would have even more admiration to this amazing plugin!
No, it only fixes the issue getting attacked a few feet off the ground. It will not fix any fatigue issues. Added a minor update with a mount timer. If you don't move more than the StuckDistance in MountFixMinutes while mounted (and not flying) it will auto dismount. Hopefully that might fix some of the Tauren mount issues.
Is there a way to disable this while waiting for a BG to start? It keeps dismounting and remounting while it waits for the gates to open, which looks odd to others.
Updated again to ignore training dummies and added configuration to ignore flying mobs. Also, improved unstuck logic, so movement during unstuck routine won't reset standing still timers.
CombatHelper does not interfere with looting. Looting is managed by the bot base. It will not pull mobs if any lootable mob is in 20 yards, or the POI type is Repair, Sell, Mail, etc. I would suggest trying Apoc's new Partybot (read the instructions on page 1). The leader will need to be the actual party or raid leader, or have been set as RaF Leader by another plugin/bot/CC.
Party bot is built into HB, just select it from the drop-down. If that doesn't work try Combat/Heal bot on followers or try Multibox Suite plugin. EDIT: I added a configuration for "MoveToLeader" which is set to false by default (since it may interfere with other movement). Set this to true if you want this feature enabled in the latest version. Added another update with loot filtering and new looting configurations. EDIT2: Added configuration "StuckInCombatTimeout" (default 10 seconds) and "PullTargetsPvP" (default true). Changed "PullTargets" to be false by default so the plugin will not pull any targets except when stuck in combat or inside battlegrounds. Otherwise the CC is wholly responsible for pulling. This fixes the issue of needlessly pulling mobs (that are not aggro'ed) running ArchaeologyBuddy or PoolFisher bots. EDIT3: Last update (4.2.1) contains only minor cleanup changes.
Hrm. It is looking like it is no longer working in .4265. It loads (you see the "Loaded version 4.2.1" line)... But I don't see any of the lines during/around/near combat anymore saying that it is doing anything. I've run through many situations while using AB where previously it would work its magic and kill things before they got to me in TH, etc. I'd give you a log but there's literally nothing in it other then the loading line. Same thing with your LetMeFly plugin not seeming to do anything, either, other then load. But I've got that disabled right now and will post over there as appropriate.
I changed PullTargets to false and added PullTargetsPvP with default true (in 4.2.0). This was to let CC manage pulling, since in most cases it works fine. If you want to have it run like before just set PullTargets back to true.
Okay, that makes sense, but even during combat I haven't seen a text line from the CombatHelper. What situations should it show up in the normal combat logs? Only when there are adds? And yeah, I'll change PullTargets back to True as I like having it be a tad bit more aggressive and go after things before they target me.
Are you sure the new version doesn't interfere with looting? I can't stop it from looting unless this plugin 4.2.1 is disabled. I went back to 4.0.4 and it doesn't loot as it shouldn't. This is with Honorbuddy_2.0.0.4265. I can pull the log off one of them if you need it but I just went back to older version for now.
With the default settings, the only time the plugin will pull outside of BGs is when you are stuck in combat without a target for at least 10 seconds. Inside BGs you don't have to worry about aggro and will always engage nearby enemy players. I find this to be the best setting for leveling. For farming profiles setting PullTargets to true may increase your kills/hour depending on your gear/spec and the CC you are running. Target filtering is active all the time and integrates with CC so mobs fighting NPCs are not ignored, won't pull mobs out of LoS, etc. Seems the loot filter I added was forcing higher level mobs to be looted. I have added checking for the "Loot Mobs" setting in Grind bot so now when it is disabled it will not interfere with looting at all. I have been testing with 4317 and so far everything looks good. See the latest release.
I'm having a problem with it targeting flying mobs... Even with the default setting set to true my character constantly targets and tries to pull flying mobs. As a warrior all he does is run around chasing the flying mob.
