Yes you where reading right there is a little "cheat" for the AH.
No, you can not getting banned for this because it's not a bug and you don't abuse a bug. You only use the AH.

And here is how it goes:

You know the pricing thing right?

Some one places maybe a Darkmooncard in the AH for 1300 bid and 1500 buyout.
What do you do to undercut him?

Most of you place the item like 1250 bid and 1450 buyout.
Or maybe a lesser like 1000 bid and 1250 buyout.

But there is a little trick to get your only a tiny tiny bit cheeper item listed BEFORE this others one!

If you price it this way 1499 bid and 1499 buyout!
      You don't think it works?
      It will, try it out!

      Sooo... whats the trick?

The AH places every item abouth an other if it is cheeper. No metter how much cheeper, it only have to be cheeper.
Also it looks (why ever) at the difference between bid and buyout.

Everyone thinks the card for 1300 bid and 1500 buyout is cheeper becuase of the >1300<.
But there is a much larger difference between than 1499 bid and 1499 buyout.

If a human would sort the items it would sort 1300-1500 and THAN 1499-1499 but WoW sorts 1499-1499 and THAN 1300-1500.
And for those of you who's thinking "gnarf it's dependig on when you post the item to tha AH" - thats not true.

Try it out, you will see that I'm right.
Undercut only 1 cooper at bid and buyout and it will be sorted in befor the other item^^

Thats the way how to make money and SAVE money!

      Cheers Dalees

I never thought of it that way. I just always undercut by 1 silver. *shrug* People who undercut by an enormous amount of gold are lazy people not dumb ones.

I do this all the time, but you risk if you post alot, that people might just undercut you, on common items like herbs and ores. It wouldn't take many seconds for another guy to post it even lower than yours.

      -1 Wont work.

It should be common sense but... everytime i see those "I NEED INSTA GOLD" kids on my server undercutting by sometimes 30% I know its not. But hey, positive side is i make arround 400g with every saronit they sell in /2 :D (1700@trade and 2100+@ AH) guess these ppl got serious problems.

      I do not agree.
I think I know a bit about the AH hence I made 600K legal before I started botting.

      (from my blog)
      What is the right price?
Lot's of people wonder this when they start playing on the Auction House.
Shortest way to tell this is this: The price at wich you can afford making profit on the item.
Let's take a deeper look into that. For example let's take Glyphs. You are an smart Auctioneer and you buy your raw mats always very cheap, resulting into a total cost of 1,5g per Glyph to make, yet glyphs vary from 5-100g each. Your profit might be higher if you post at 50g but the volume you sell most likely will be lower.
My personal favorite method will be a deep undercut in such a case. We saw the costs are 1,5g, in this case I would post 1 or 2 glyphs of each for around 5g each. This way your competition might think you are just a noob who just wanted a quick sale and the will buy you out to get the price back up to 50g or even 100g. You just made 6g on your two glyphs, but there are over 300 glyphs, that's 1800g profit by just looking dumb (and yes, these situations really happen). If you do this daily, keeping the price low your competion will most likely will give up wich will give u a lone right to sell, keeping the price so low will people make your stuff buy earlier because a respec will be alot cheaper and since you have no competitors or only few you will also sell in a larger volume. This method is hated by alot of people, that's why you should have a bank alt to do this ;)
Also make sure u have a minimum margin, like for example 20g on Epic Gems or maybe 3g per Glyph, know the prices of your raw mats and go get rich.

and in other news, buy low sell high. it's another of my favorite legal "cheats". and people are wondering why they can't make and money selling gold. it's because of all the cool secret info stuff like this being give away to an army of noobs. and stuff.

i mean with all those gems of knowledge it's hard to believe no-one's ever commented on a single post on your "blog". at least i'm assuming it's your blog since it was taken word for word from it.. http://srs-stuff.blogspot.com/?

Yes thats true but I wouldn't show you a way to sell faster or some like that. I tried to show you a way to place you items before the cheeper rival.

The funny thing is that most people don't really look what item is cheeper, they just buy the first one in the row and with my way you more expensive item is the first, even in the row of Acutioneer.

I agree with you but because of this the prices for everything are down.
I understand you want to sell your stuff fast but if you allways do this at a to low price some time you won't get any money.
