This may have been posted elsewhere but as botting and the game changes so to must the information so I am looking for an update to these questions... Question for the experienced botters out there especially the Devs.... Since it is to the benifit of HB for botters to be successful I hope they will chime in and provide guidence. Can you please share your secrets to not being banned when running 24/7? or for long periods. 1. Do you use re-logging? if so how often? 2. Do you use Virtual machines for each account? 3. Do you use multiple computers? 4. Do you conceal your IP address with a VPN / Proxies? which? 5. Do you make any regular modification to your registry? Any insight would be greatly appreciated !
1.) Use HBRelog, "24/7" Does not work. But you can bot for like 24h+ with just small breaks and go basically 24/7 2.) VM's are pointless blizzard does not track HWID / MAC, you can run 50+ accounts on the same machine so long as you have something to seperate IP's when you start more then 5~10 accounts like proxifier or proxycap, you can do it with winpcap too but its pretty pointless to do that anymore. 3.) Depends how many accounts you need. But you can use just one server / pc if you really want 4.) Yes this is a MUST. if you don't blizzard will wipe you out once you get past 9 accounts 5.) regedit is not needed on standard windows installations. Only VM installations to make the VM think it is a normal desktop. (Blizzard can see if you are booting from a normal VM if you use a default installation but VM's are not needed any more)

I sell between 2~4mil pretty much daily to Chinese websites and the only time I have ever been banned when moving large amounts of gold was when I was using a fresh VM or Changing IP's / spoofing hwid/mac unnecessarily. It will cause more harm then good because of how autoban works if you just quickly switch before trading. So I am not sure what you are getting at. It is much more effective to just hide in plain sight and use multiple accounts and dummy accounts to move gold.
So am I They'll catch you once they know you are a decent gold farmer. Switching HWID/MACs, reinstalling and or using VMs is a must if you want to make a profit.
If you get banned a lot sure. The only time I have ever taken that approach was during the WoD banwaves and it really did not do much to combat it. VM is a waste of resource but changing HWID does have some merit. You can spoof individual WoW processes HWID instead of using VM's and save extreme amounts of resources per machine if you really want to have seperate HWIDs

This thread is for your nerds finest holy shit. but on a serious note im just wondering if and when you think another wave will hit we just past the 6 month mark with no bann and the 3 month went without any do you think blizz is trying to keep subs up so they let us go? or as soon as i start botting again back on a account i just got back from a 6 month ban will get hit as soon as i start? just curious of some others feedback.
Trying to guess when detection banwaves are going to happen is more or less a waste of time. Since it has been a while since the last one nobody really knows when blizzard is going to try and do a huge banwave again outside of select blizzard employees most likely. The biggest "Danger Zones" for getting banned is around a month before and after content patches imo.

Just cap out your account with wow tokens sometime before the banwave and you will never really care about bans anymore with how wow is designed now. Even if your main gets banned you can just abuse catchup mechanics with botting and be right were you would have been in like a week anyways. even raiders don't have to worry that much because of gear farming in M+
What i wish i could find is a good comp for a 5's team to farm m+ on my own without any help from pugs. Then getting hit with a wave would be pointless. Im up to 6 wow accounts on one bnet and only one is my protection account the others ive botted on at some point and 2 i just got bac from a 6 month bann.
I just use pure druid teams for most of my M+ farming, that or have a couple hunters for dps. The best thing to do is just have your 5 bots all be the same armor type and then loot share to have them all gear up pretty fast. But you absolutely can do Mythic+ dungeons and raids all by yourself with honorbuddy if you know what you are doing with dungeonbuddy. It gets pretty tricky when you start running into certain types of oneshot mechanics tho
it really depends on the GFX, I am no hardware expert so I can't tell you but that rig seems pretty bad for botting
When I did it... I did it in a shitty CE way, I honestly dont even know if it spoofed my HWID correctly. That guy above tries to cry about HWID then runs 17 accs on the same HWID so more or less he is just talking out of his ass
