Is there a zone that is better for archeology like kalimdor for example? Also what is the fastest way to level with archeology and does being rested matter? Because i'm getting 510k xp an hour in the 70's and my friend is getting 250k in the 70's. Thanks

From what I know, the exp/dig is based off your level so a 72 will get more than a 71. Rested experience does not matter but I am not sure about guild perk, boa ect. Mount speed effects the xp/hour drastically as well. Hope this helps

rested counts.. so if you are rested you will get double what someone who isnt rested gets.

Rested, guild perks, boa's and mount speed all affect your xp/h with archy. You may get better xp/h in outland or northrend but the epics suck, so it is best to stay in EK / Kal depending on the epics you want most. Also don't train past 350 archy because at 450 and at level 80 you will start getting tol'vir and be too low to kill the mobs. At level 82 and full cata greens/blues my shadow priest can do uldum with relative ease so feel free to train til 525.

      Hope this helped.

This is probably a stupid question but does it use up your rested xp?
