i assume you have an disconnect 24/7 because of your ISP - either disconnect your router at any other time manually ( like @ 8 in the morning ), then it will disc you each morning at 8, or you do it at any other time you want

Server restart maybe? :p. I can't think of any reason HB side why it would shut down at around 3:30am all the time. That seems rather odd. More likely a conenction issue.

Yeah, its most likely that your ISP is forcing new IPs to you each night at 3:30. 24 hour IP lease, which renews when most of their clients are offline. Not your fault, but Disconnecting and re-connecting in the morning should switch what time your lease will expire. That was probably confusing. Just think of it as every 24 hours you will have a wake-up alarm, and plugging in your alarm clock at 8am sets the alarm to 8am.

Just figured I would throw my 2 cents in. In my personal experience some ISP's remotely reboot all residential modems. They do this for a couple of reasons.
      1. Their modem is garbage and needs to be rebooted to work reliably.
      2. They do it to cut off open connects on their networks.
      3. Lame attempt at trying to prevent residential customers from running private web servers.
      4. ISP has a bad nod in your neighborhood and rather then fixing it they reboot modems so customers don't notice the issue.

Just my 2 cents but hope this sheds some light for some.

Probably the garbage modem, I know the one I got from my ISP couldn't hold its own for more than 2 days without a reset. Worthless.
But still, the IP Lease should do just fine. Go with what I put above.

My issue was all of the above at one point. Dropped my ISP and got Verizon FIOS. Now I have unbelievable speeds and no more disconnections. Life is good with 4.75 megabytes up and 4.5 down. And yes I said megabytes.

Verizon FIOS is the fastest connection you can get. They offer even higher speeds but I Think my wife would kill me if I upgraded. Gotta love a 99.9% fiberoptic connection. The only thing that's not fiberoptic is the connection between the nod inside of my house and the modem.

Excuse me for me being noobish :p But if I understood it right, restarting my rooter every morning should fix it? Thank you for all the nice answers ^.^

Should. Run a test. Stay up late, at say 2am, start a huge download that will take around 4-5 hours. Check on it in the morning, jsut leave that running, no WoW, bots, etc, if it cancels, then it's definetly a hardware/isp issue. Then, you can either try the router resetting, or, complain to your isp, have them check it out, replace your rotuer, whatever lol.
