I have been browsing the forums for a while and being a past user, I have wondered now if it will be updated and viable for 3.2 in the month for the new season? The builds, filters and lots of other topics in the forums seem to be a little dead so that has me concerned.

The 3.2 patch notes and news about all of what GGG is changing isn't out yet, so it's a bit too early to be wondering what updates EB will have for it and what will or won't be supported. We'll post news on this around the time the first Beta is being prepared for release in March, after the game update is deployed.

Unless something unexpected happens between now and then, we (Bossland GmbH) intend to update Exilebuiddy for 3.2, and support as much as possible like we did for 3.1, 3.0, and all previous updates.

Will there be an approximate eb downtime before 3.2 released?

EB gonna be so gimped in 3.2 no possible way they gonna deal with Pokemon league, how they gonna target specific beast and lower their HP then set up traps to catch them??? unless they put up an elite coder group with rocket science degree EB wont work good in 3.2

Why so you always post and phrase as you were the poor victim?
Bossland / the eb devs focus on what the majority of their customers want.
A working API and all base functions to map and Quest working.

Your special requests are not important. Most people don't cae about perfectly working league mechanics.
If u want that done - do it yourself. Thats what the api is for.

But for the lords sake, stop crying.

      1. Unless you have full patch notes or have tried the content on alpha / beta how could you possibly know how difficult it would be to add something to EB?
      2. There is no rocket science involved. There is a new button added to the UI (a net to capture the beasts). The new net button can be used even when the mob is at full HP to capture it. This isnt a Vorici Mission simulator 2.0 league where you have to hold mobs at X hp for X seconds to capture. There will likely be a new mob class added to EB so you can just "Use net if m.IsPokemonMob && m.PokemonMobNotCollected", and even if not, you could do by name and keep capturing even if you have it already.

As far as full support for the crafting portion of the new system. Unlikely but im sure there will be API to use it.

Downtime is unknown, but I foresee more downtime for 3.2 than 3.1 or 3.0 based on what the videos show. Several weeks is certainly possible as big updates are impossible to cover in a matter of days with the nature of the game changes on the API side alone.

API support for crafting using the new altar will not be a priority for a while, and will be complicated because it's a new GUI. Anything that supports scrolling is annoying to support, and couple the fact with how you have to also handle a fight to get your results, and know what you want to craft in the first place, it's not something that's going to be looked into for a while most likely.

As for the monster net skill, that's just a skill, so OldRoutine will get some updates to support it. If you read reddit Bex said:
So that's not the issue. The issue is more the fact you have only 5 slots to store monsters, so finding the data to know your monster count level for specific types is going to be the biggest challenge. Once that is known, then simply throwing the net on the monster before it dies should be easy since very few builds 1 shot rares off-screen.

And if you do have a build that's too strong, then you're most likely not going to care about slowing down to capture monsters when you can be farming currency instead.

So while this league is certainly more complex and involved than previous leagues, botters don't have to care about the optional fancy league mechanics. All they need is a working bot that plays the game as it would in standard and farm currency, and that's always been the focus on new leagues. It's nice to support new league mechanics, but things that are optional, can always be looked into later.

I'll try to be very open here with you Pushed, I run a small scale farm of 10 bots, 2 of which run ExiledBot(for testing purposes) and 8 with ExileBuddy, in terms of efficiency the EB ones make 2-3c/h more on the exact same build, stats, and farming area. I dare to say that most botters just need the bot to run low tier maps for currency and most specifically during the FIRST month of the league, after that we almost hit standard prices, and most go back to standard to farm with their fully geared bots(have a visit on Discord and you'll see), very few would care whether it can do the league mechanics or not. I even ran this whole league with Abyss disabled because it actually reduced my overall farm.

The first point I'm trying to make is, this league basically adds 1 quest and 3 skill gems, some crappy league mechanics noone cares about, and most serious botters don't even run QuestBot to level their accounts; thus, with the little coding knowledge I have, I strongly believe that you can have a working MapBot up and running within 3 days EASILY(for beta testing of course), and that would also satisfy the largest amount of your subscribers, correct me if you think I'm wrong.

There have already been rumours about you selling the alpha version of the bot to very high bidders during the first week of the league where each exalt is worth as high as 15$/ea and is piss easy to make, or that you mass scale bot by yourself during the first month for crazy income, both of which I believe and hope to be untrue.

That aside, the second point I want to make is that by delaying a working MapBot for so long for no apparent reason is like shooting BossLand to the leg. I know many people that chose ExiledBot over EB for the past 2 Leagues only for the first month of each before going back to EB just because they updated within 3 days and botters didn't want to miss out on the great prices and demand for RMT. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to advertise ExiledBot here, in fact, I hate it. Having to config it to run properly is a hell and it still won't run as good as EB, the only plus is Leaguestart updates. So I humbly ask you to do your best and get the community a working MapBot ASAP, because if it takes "several weeks" as you said; most, me including, will turn to the opposition for at least the first month.

Not hating/taking sides/fearmongering/threatening here, just realistically stating the facts and what's best for you, BossLand, and us - I hope you understand.

Holy s***,several weeks for 1 quest and 3 gems?Just give us working mapbot man, noone wants that pokemon crap...All the botters want is working mapbot and im pretty sure you can update it within few days, unless there are other reasons that you will intentionaly delay the bot for those several weeks...

As posted in the Exilebuddy 3.0+ Reference Thread, which was written Aug 13, 2017.
No ETAs are given before patches are released, because the extent of the internal client changes aren't known until we start working on it, which we can't until the servers are back up and running. I did not say the ETA for the new update is several weeks, I said, and I quote with added emphasis:
It's a possibility we can see several weeks of downtime if there are significant internal changes, as is the case with any major update the game receives. However, we won't know until after the update is up and running. For all we know, GGG could add a new anti-cheat to the game for 3.2, and that'd definitely cause us extra downtime than expected. Yet, you'd not see that in the patch notes so...

Anyways, as always, you'll just have to wait and see the first status report we'll post on March 5th as to the current progress of the update, but I'll be mentioning that in the expected downtime thread I'll post next week.

The point of reminding people the possibility of long downtime comes from us having worked on this game since 2012, and to help users plan ahead. Too many people have the false expectation that Exilebuddy is just a few offsets and can be updated in no time at all after big client changes due to other products working that way. Time and time again, we have to re-explain to these people that the downtime is necessary because the nature of the client changes is much more significant than they can understand since they are not programmers.

If an expansion comes out, and there's virtually no client changes, and just content was added, then we would not have much downtime at all, but that's never the case in this game, unfortunately.

You want to say that you wont run questbot if there will be an update 3-4 days after league start?

Wow is it me or people who don't know what they are talking about, know even less now.

Show a model of your efficiency, maybe we will believe you.

Using EB for both ExileBuddy and ExiledBot is really confusing, you need to clearly make your points. I have no clue if ExileBuddy or ExiledBot is making you 2-3c an hour more on top of your most likely 10c an hour builds. By the way, most people will laugh at you for doing 10c an hour, and if you are not, you have to post some tangible proof. Exilebuddy has tracking, idk what the other trash bot has aside from back and fourth town movement.
Saying something as simple as it's a few things updated so updating EB should be quick, is not a legitimate point, it's a baseless ignorant point based on your skewed knowledge of reversing and what it entitles. There are reasons why companies pay 100k+ a year for people who know low level assembly, the wage is not there just for show.
      **edit**

Forgot about questbot. Are you that ignorant saying most people will no use questbot? So you are running your 10 accounts by hand til maping. Even the best RACERS take 4 hours to level , and I can bet my shoe that you aren't even in the top 50k at racing full progression. I mean you can prove me wrong, but with just words, that's highly unlikely. I will probably say 10~ hours for you fastest you can level. Taking in account for sleeping 3-4 hours a day, that's 2 accounts a day. So a week you will have 10 chars at maping. Whereas Exilebuddy, it takes me 5 hours and 45~ mins per bot to get to maping. Maybe botting isn't your thing....

      **end edit**
Wat? Where is this being sold, I mean Im buying 100 keys a month for Exilebuddy, why haven't I heard of this. Wait, it does not exist, and it's throwing mud into Buddy's face saying they would do something like this. What's even worse is you even stated it being rumours, what are you a teen in high school still? If you are penny pinching on 10 bots weighing what someone else possibly has that gives them an advantage over you. You sir have a piss poor personality.

Cry me a river? how many people do you know? 1 or 2 does not count.

Abyss came out on Dec 8

Using https://poe.ninja/challenge/currency as our data aggregator,

The first initial spike in prices was selling 48 Chaos Per 1 Exalt on Dec 13th.

The other bot updated on the same day, Dec 10th, prob just auto sig patches. What do you expect when you have no api support. Any monkey can generate auto sig patches.
Same Day, another build was posted to fix broken things, and it did not detect maps, keep this in mind.
Dec 11 Fixes farming for maps https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/War_for_the_Atlas new maps because a bunch of them were lower tiers.. hum wondering if someone was farming on the bot with maps that didn't' work....
Dec 12 Map farming and stash needs to be fixed. Yea HIGHLY doubt anyone was running 24/7 on the other bot and making moolah.
Same day, progression fix.. wonder what broke.. how you going to map when you can't progress.

      So onto the point,
Kind of hard to RMT when the tools needed are broken.

Exilebuddy was released on the 16th(https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/exilebuddy-3-0-reference-thread.406684/#post-2544186), with full API support, a week after new content.

Dec 21 is when the price spikes on Chaos/Exalt. We can assume it took most big farmers 5 days on Exilebuddy to get to maping or farming saints treasure. Or ExiledBot 13 days to get to max farming potential....(lols). After that we see a stabilised market with banwaves removing bots and more bots being added subsequently.

The point is @verard does not know what he/she is talking about and is spouting ignorant nonsense with no actual data to back up said claims. Take what they say with a grain of salt, because they are spreading FUD because of their inherent ignorance..

It's 5:30 am here, and I had to type this up.

Sorry wasn't meant for simple minded individuals. So no tl;Dr , you need to have certain amount of capability to comprehend, and if you don't have it there is no tl;Dr that can help.
