Yeah, blizzard owned us hard.
I'm gonna sit it out for a month or two then check out some other mmorpg's, perhaps Rift.

today one of my last private buyers tried to buy me 1k/0,80$ he told me that chinesse sell to him at that price hehe.

 

A few of my private buyers have stopped buying from me at $1.4/k. Only the loyal ones left.
Got a few messages today "I can buy gold for $1.1/k now, your prices are bad" I actually laughed at my computer screen because of how bad It's got.

I Think soon we will bot only for fun and not for business because prices will continue on the way down to 0.

 

Demand goes down, this is reason why price of golds go down. Golds on my realm start from 13,4 usd per 10k. I am stocking golds now, waiting for content patch.

 

one simple reason is ... every one botter or normal players gathered so much gold at the start of cata and now too much ppl ve too much gold but it?s a matter of time ...
ah prices going to be normal ... first weeks u could made 100k per day only sitting in front of the autioneer and buying and selling things ... it will take a few weeks months
till the demand starts coming back ... or we ve to seek a new mmorpg

Seriously $1/k is not too bad really. considering you make 20k gold easy on every account you own that's $20/d/accnt: = end of the month $600/accnt (-$10 for monthly fee!). how many accounts do you bot?
I sell to chinese and I know it's bad! Getting 0.5/0.8. I've been trying to find private buyers.... already got a few vanillas banned in the process. Wish me luck

 

Considering 20k a day is totally realm dependant that's not correct. I average 12-14k. two realms 20k, another three 9k, which have been totally flooded and fucked
I run lot's of accounts, US realm and EU realm and currently in a lame process of forging ID to get some of my account's unlocked
And why does everyone calculate it like you do? You never been banned? I used to add it up like you do, then one day 17 account's got wiped twice in 3 months and my profit margin went way down. Wait till blizzard start's to ban you, it'll hurt. Be smart and put emergency money away, always put money away first for emergency money, don't go spend it, it's not really profit until you have enough to rebuild another account and a vanilla.

 

You are totally right and it didn't mean to flame. I am a noob gold seller you know. Started selling 2 months ago ( and you may despise me for it :x ). Si I haven't had a banwave on me yet. but you're right, it's gonna come and hit me hard someday.

Let me do the maths: 1 cata account : about $90 : X 17 = 1500 ... It does hurt you're right ! I can't imagine the time spent rebuilding your toon!

anyway, Im in the process of looking for private buyers. 1€/k would be great to me especially the dollar change is real crap now !

 

I was pretty happy with $1 but now cant find it, I was getting 100k per account per week, so that was $600 week for me, just about to expand to 9 accounts.. had 3 closed this week to some bullshit with my new vanilla auction house account but whatever

 

You sound lucky to me. Had loads locked and 1.5 mill gold stocked lost $750 cos price has gone from $1 to $0.5. Wow gold and botting for cash is so unstable lol.

 

Too many people botting and trying to sell gold. Its very simple.

Supply and Demand. There simply isnt as much demand right now and so many people botting and selling gold that the supply is high right now, so the price to purchase is going to go way down. Honestly the only way prices will go back up is if for some reason everyone starts buying gold and gold sellers are desperate to purchase. Either that or a Mass ban on all botting accounts would make it go up but no one wants that

 

Got it one, I'm already researching rift as we speak.
