I think this might be a nice feature, too It makes really fun to advance this Plugin. So after bugfixing, making a nice GUI and implementing some other features (Aeonaxx for example), I will look into the SS-Thing

I'm using GB2 botbase with loot enabled but no gathering boxes ticked. Heroic Throw is working properly for the dismount with no rage, I tested on some rats and changed my wow settings to dismount on skill use. It is literally the only skill that warriors can use to pull it. The snowfall lager is working for me, I tested that too. You are correct, when I got back my toon was standing on a ledge of the ice waterfall. As soon as I touched the keyboard he mounted back up and continued with the patrol. Will try more today and post back with any findings.

Please reload both .cs-Files from the First Thread ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And for the People who have some problems with the Plugin: To find out whats going wrong I write a little Testkillerplugin. This Plugin is hunting the Stormpike Wyrms instead of Vyragosa with a little GB2-Profile So you can test the behavior of your toon. Just download this File and go to the Stormpeaks to Engine of the Makers Enable your Slowfall Plugin and the Testkiller and start GB2 with the Profile SP Wyrm Testprofile. Then he hunts the Stormpike wyrms and maybe you can see whats going wrong or you can give me the log and I will take a look at it. And gimme feedback what happens ! Deadly throw for rogues won't work because you need combo points first in order to use it. I have been using throw instead.
Oh ... ok I will correct that. One Question: is throw a spell? My husband told me Throw has a casttime? But you need an instant cast. Does anybody know an ranged, instant spell without combos for a rogue?
It says it is at wowhead Thrown - Spell - World of Warcraft You need a thrown item in your ranged slot. Shoot could work too if you have a bow/gun in your ranged slot. Shoot - Spell - World of Warcraft Well my throw is almost instant. It has a cast time of .485s in my tooltip.
Ah "thrown" I was searching for throw and found nothing, sorry. I will replace it. The problem with instant and .485 s is that you cant use it while falling
Found the throw ability here Throw - Spell - World of Warcraft The only instant ranged spell for rogues is Fan of Knives which is 8 yards and if you get Glyph of Fan of Knives it will increase the range to 12 yards.
In the latest slowfall.cs file you put "Slowfall Lager" rather than the correct "Snowfall Lager" THANK YOU! Loaded the test profile and it let me see exactly what needed to be changed. My cc, Singular was trying to intercept a flying target rather than moving closer, switching to fpsware's made it work perfectly. Time to hunt me a drake.
The new snowfall.cs doesn't work but the old one does. Also, when I used fan of knives to pull and killed with the test plugin it did not loot the mobs just mounted and flew away.
You need to change the slowfall.cs, katzerle has spelled wrong in the settings. Should be " Snowfall Lager " not " Slowfall Lager " Here is one already edited, works great
It flew away because it detected another drake that it needed to kill. When hunting one of the rares it will loot as there is not another rare drake that it must kill right there.
to the guy that nothing happens when he finds drakes, have you enabled the tlpd plugin itself? otherwise it is simply just pathing. To katzerle in regards to warriors: it will basically guaranteed fail to kill vyragosa as a warrior, since vyra is more then happy to sit 20 yards in the air and pelt you with ice lance or w/e over and over and over again until it gets bored and returns to patyting, or you die. the latter is much more likely. the normal strat for warriors, in killing vyragosa, is to LoS vyra in such a way that she has to fly down to melee range in order to re-target you... obviously this is far beyond the bots abilities. That said, TLPD does NOT have this problem, and once aggroed immediately comes into melee range. So although it IS a pain that your bot is basically relying on somebody else to kill vyra so tlpd spawn timer begins (hopefully) it does not mean that when tlpd spawns you will not be able to get him.
Got Vyragosa today. Snowfall lager didn't fire for some reason on the first pull so I died. On rez the toon flies back up to the dragon, but has no pull spell because its a 1 min CD on heroic throw. I had to right click on the dragon to initiate combat and dismount me. The dragon died on the first swing and fell to the ground, I slowfalled safely to the ground and the bot flew over to the dragon and looted. For warriors perhaps its best to pull by starting autoattack instead of using a pull spell with a long Cooldown incase something doesn't fire like I just witnessed. Will see what I can do as far as testing an autoattack pull. Adding Me.ToggleAttack(); before the pull spells enabled me to pull/kill the test drakes, though once killed, I fell to my death(no slowfall useage) and would not release spirit to rez and loot.
possible gcd-fail on snowfall? does it have a gcd? i mean, if you try to use it instantly after using heroic throw, if it has a gcd it might fail since it was too fast, then not try again.
You are correct. I just tested this and using heroic throw puts snowfall lager on the GCD. I wasn't very successful in implementing a toggle attack pull, but then again, I am not a coder.
so then, the slowfall with the 1 second delay is best for every class, otherwise those without high lat (or possibly with??) could fail @ falling slowly :O
I updated SlowFall.cs to use a falling timer so it will not use Slow Fall until falling for at least 1 second. This stops it from using Slow Fall when GB2 dismounts in the air above a node.
