Honorbuddy 2.0.0.4317 Discussion Thread

Running Wild is not working. I do not have another available mount to use which is unfortunate.

Also, sits and loads tiles for what seems like ever, sometimes gets stuck on one tile which causes me to reload HB.. and the majority of the time, it can't even generate a path.

?? I am confused why one would release such a buggy version... I am left with no alternative to level

 

I notice my toons having trouble with targeting correct mobs, will eventually die because the mob that is hitting the toon are not in target. Ill post logs tomorrow if needed.

 

ahh didnt even notice wasnt running latest bot. updated. will post if errors.

You guys need to change the fighting on gb2 back to way it was. That bouncing up and down trying to get a herb and avoiding the monster just isnt cutting it.

Numerous times my guy gets killed from that. And last night my friend told me someone was blurting my name out in chat calling me a bot because I was going from 96k to 0 trying to herb and not attacking. Also said he reported me....

Ok next nite. Got newest release. Left doing AB over nite. Woke up in middle of night and checked on bot. Druid in flight form flying into a wall for almost 3 hours. I strafed him to side. He started to go on like normal. I hit stop. Can see on log a spam of root tick error. Then nothing for the almost 3 hours till I moved him.

 

I did put in a custom CC from fpsware. But had folder in wrong way. Wouldn't work so restarted bot and used CC provided with bot. (gave 3 options, fpsware, hawker's, singular)

Would an error from a CC your not using effect the bot?

Corrected folder path, restarted bot. No error this time. Did select fpsware as CC. Will test more.

Except that archbuddy doesn't have that option.

 

Yah, I've found that the anti-stuck in this latest release doesn't do anything other than back up, then run forward into the same spot. In prior releases, it backed up, strafed to one side, then ran forward, thus avoiding whatever obstacle it was stuck on. I'd say go back to 4129. That was the most stable current release.

 

If you click on the "Grindbot Settings" button in the AB settings you can pull all that up and change those options. AB basically uses the Grindbot settings for certain things while it is running.

 

Dunno if its a cc specific problem, but it does happen for both the fpsware pally and the built in pally cc: Theres one specific dragonkind that kinda hovers above the ground that the bot just cant seem to fight. On a herb/mine roundtrip in Twiligt it will probably encounter it once or twise. And i die every time. If more detail is needed ill check the specific name of the mob.

 

After the patch, when the new version?

 

I know that much, but as for limiting which herbs to pick (i.e. don't herb low level herbs, but herb high level ones), I have not seen that option. Telling the bot which herbs to avoid is limited to GB/GB2 from what I know.

 

Well a new build is required to Run Mixed mode.

At present it is still suffering from the random running about ad no fighting back bug that has been in the last 3 releases.

 

I have issues when running Mixed Mode (Alterac Valley) and then when it comes out of BG, it just keeps running to hotspot through tons of mobs and dies over and over. It joins BG when it pops, but then same thing when out.

I dont know if this is release or my profile.

As another two points. Why does it always Spaz up and running around in circles and all kinds of stupid crap in Capital Cities? That and it doesn't auto detect mounts any more....

 

-I have to agree unstuck botton suck in this release, moving back and toward look that noob as you get right back into the same object .....
-This built have a problem with whatever warlock Default built, it just recast it so often.....( i tryed multiple others default version ) its a problem with the build of HB it seem.
-I still have yet to see a diff toward rich vein.
-The experimantal pathing is even worse than others version, its like one of the best feature when working, it smooth naturaly the bots, without it, we often look like a bot, i would recommend to either fix it or remove it as it is useless to leave it here since last 6-7 build broken it. I would rather you release next build 4-5 day later but have that option perfectly working.
