I would say you -could- use arch to farm gold but the drops would mainly be the 1-10g ones, rarely the 100-200g ones. So it would depend on luck I guess. Have earned about 3k with it myself while leveling from 80-85
You do realize that you can still sell the scrolls/hieroglyphs? On my server, the Tol'vir Hieroglyphs sell for around 400-500g, sums up to around 1-1,5k gold/hr for me

Figure this is a good place to ask this question given the number of archeologists in here...do you have to have alchemy at any certain level before you can find the Vial of the Sands Recipe (certain you have to be high Alchemy level to learn it) or is it just your Arch that need to be at a certain level? Using Arch to level a couple of low level toons, trying new angles aside from grinding, pvp, questing, etc and was curious about this one. BTW, so far I am really liking Arch for leveling. Never more than a few minutes in any area, good xp especially if rested and since I am leveling in the old world I can have crap for gear because I am 30 to 40 levels above any mob. Went up 8 levels yesterday, from 62 to 70, not a death and no stuck issues.

Ok, i dont have flying plugin, but it says that it is switching to ground mount mode ([ArchBuddy v1.1.0.312]:You are either not a lifetime member, don't have a Paid Plugin Key, or don't have flying skill/mount. Starting ArchaeologyBuddy in ground mount mode) but it just walks EVERYWHERE
Well I finally get to use my Zin'Rokh since ive had it for about 10 levels now. Next on the plate is the vials and the dwarf staff. Oh and just dinged 85 from 70 last night.
I am still missing Dwarf staff, and the Tol'vir pet and mount. Otherwise, I have gotten all the other rares/epics.
How do you guys handle Twilight Highland dig sites prior to hitting 85? I tried to blacklist most of em, but then i'm stuck with having all 4 sites in Twilght Highlands and i'm only 83. lol
You will probably have to do these sites by hand as they are high level zones. Just avoid mobs as much as you can and try to clear the zone of dig sites, then you are back on track with the bot until the zone fills up again.
after 22k gold and all useless epic items still dont have a fucking sword hehe, i have Blacklisted all except troll and i have all epics from night elf and nerubian thats a bit stupid:-
I started it last night... and after the first fossil solve, the Raptor mount queued up. So, that was cool.
