I came across something interesting lately: The average vendor value for a stack of obsidium ore after prospecting and cutting is around 54g. The AH price is quite often lower than this. As you can process approx. 200 stacks / hour, you can reach profits above 2k / hour with an AH price of 45g. With the recent release of ProfessionBuddy i just had to automate this process, and that's exactly what I've been doing. Features: - Single pass mode: - Will process all obsidium ore in your bags - Can exit your WoW when done - Continuous mode: - Retrieves ore and processes all of it in a continuous loop - Capable of retrieving ore from Mail, Guild Bank, Personal Bank and AH To use, download the profile and load it in ProfessionBuddy, using the DoNothing botbase. It requires you to have at least 430 JC, i highly recommend you learn all available trainer recipes at that level. A Simple Grinder is also highly recommended. Known issues: - It'll retrieve all items from mail, not only obsidium ore as I'm unable to reliably retrieve a specific itemid from the mailbox - Usage of profession bags is not tested, while I suspect JC bags to be functional, bags used by other professions will probably break something - Will use the nearest AH, without paying any respect to faction standings. This is a PH / HB issue, not my job to fix it. If you notice any additional issues or if you happen the be aware of any fixes, please contact me. v The format is <name>_day-month_time, fyi. Please use the latest version, unless it's horribly bugged for some weird reason. The latest version is: JCShuffle_2-4_1339.xml
i dont have a jc on my bot account.. might have to level one to check this out.. i have so much Obsidium Ore, I dont know what to do with it anymore..
Ugh, how could I forget the neutral AHs in Dalaran and Shattrath? >.> I'll try to include them the next time I upload a new profile, expect it later tonight or maybe tomorrow.
Well... It wont buy any items on the AH It Opesn the AH and get the page of Obsidium ore, but it wont buy it! (The price was 75g / stack) No addons enabled. Log: View attachment 2011-03-19_23_28 6280 Log.txt EDIT: I bought one stack of Obsidium my self!
This is working as intended, as you cannot make a profit of stacks that costly it'll not buy them. The maximum AH price per stack is currently set to approx. 50g, I'll add an easy configuration method as soon as I've found a proper way to do this. Also, I've uploaded a new version. Changes: - Mail box should now be properly closed when you're done with the retrieval of mail - Default vendor code replaced with homebrew C# / lua: It should now work with pretty much every vendor in the game. It should also vendor items much quicker than before. I might end up using the same code to fix guild / personal banking.
Could you give coordinates and npc names you're moving to and from? If your character has to make sharp turns, such as the stairs going up to the JC trainer in Dalaran, it's guaranteed to be stuttery, not a lot i can do about it, i'm afraid. You could try using the Autoprecision plugin, it seems to modify the time between clicks depending on your movement speed.
It seem that was a local problem, re-download and the moving problem has gone. In Dalaran you can use the heirloom vendor that stands near AH robot for selling items. It needs a waiting period at AH it seem it buy too fast an then go to mail (some auctions are not won)
Nice to hear it's fixed. I'm aware of the vendor issues, it'll currently only sell gems to repair NPCs. This is because it's not yet able to skip the gossip options, therefore causing issues with several vendor-capable NPCs. I've already fixed this in my local version, until I upload a new one I'd like to suggest the AH in the Magus Commerce Exchange. Regarding your issues with the AH, does it need to wait between individual actions or are you having issues with auctions not yet in the mail when you arrive at the mailbox? If the latter, then there's not a lot I can do about it as it also happens when you manually buy auctions quite fast. It seems to be a server-side limit. The current code should wait at the AH for the New Mail indicator to pop up, then move to the mail box and wait there for the mail to arrive. If one of those steps isn't working properly, please let me know which one.
Working excellent thank you. Is it possible to exclude some items from being crafted? i.e. Carnelian sells for a nice price, higher than the vendor item, can I exlude it from being cut?
I'm currently limited to a very low number of configuration options, so I'm afraid I cannot easily add a configuration option for this. You could always just remove the cast itself from the config, ofcourse. I've added a screenshot to further clarify this process. Please note that ProfessionBuddy shows spell IDs until it has crafted the first gem, I've added the list with names in the picture. If you can't find it in your version, just expand all the items and look for the part with a lot of "Cast Spell" entries.
And what about elementium ? How much is the prospected and cut average value? I sells like 35-40g max per stack on many servers now
