i have been hacked. i have a new comp.. no other access and run archeology. have logged in today to find that all my gear is gone. has anyone else had this happen while using HB? what are the chances someone has breached my account with the help of HB addons?
This and DLing anything like music, torrented guides, PrON. Etc. few useful programs Spy-bot S&D. and Malware bytes. Also put in a ticket, get your shit back!
exactly! I use a computer just for that, and it has anti-everything out the @$$ to keep my stuff safe
thanks for the response. i got everything back. as of 3 weeks ago, this is a new comp, new win7 install, no torrents, only ever glided ( 3 years ago) and i run avira paid antivirus which is pretty tight. it updates daily and i ran a deep scan with no probs. ran sd and ad aware. nothing. is curse gaming bad? i downloaded a gearlist feature, but its a text based file so i cant see that being a problem. i dont access any other programs on this comp but HB. i cant see what has happened.
Get an authenticator. We can't tell you whether it was Curse, HB, trojans, whatever. But nothing can get past an authenticator. Granted it means you can't use a relogger for any botting you may do, but it's a small price to pay for an uncompromised account and the extra safety .
