HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

I am trying to level a shaman using this profile. The first few quests worked great, then it made it to "Fear no evil" and threw an exception. I thought perhaps Carbonite was the culprit, so I uninstalled that and tried again. No dice.

I've tried restarting WOW/HB, abandoning the quests, etc. with no luck so far. I'm probably just doing something wrong, but couldn't find anything relevant to the error I am receiving after searching the forum. Also, I noticed that the log says "Quest completed", but that is not the case. Neither "Fear no evil" nor "They sent assassins" has been completed.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

ETA: I noticed that the log showed an error compiling InteractWith.cs (the version from your blog), so I replaced it with the default file the ships with HB. Lo and behold, the issue is fixed!

 

my draenei shaman did it just fine.

complete the quests and comment out or delete the 1-5 portion and continue.

Darn, it already turned in "Fear no evil" (see my solution to the problem in my previous post above), but here is the quest info from "They sent assassins"

Didn't know where to post this, using the Alpha version of this profile from your blog post.

Hey, I set your LK profile that's included in your pack to run while I was out. Was gone just over 2 hrs. came back and WoW was dc'd, and HB was still "running". Hit the stop button and checked the logs, had something weird about LUA failed? Not sure exactly what this is, so I figured that you would know what it was and who to give it to to get it fixed. Also noticed several "Unable to generate path" errors followed by a ton of "Stuck" but not really stuck errors... I'm attaching both the log file and the profile I was using when the errors occured. Hope this helps.

Love your profiles btw, makes it so much easier to level toons now.

Here's another logfile, shows errors of a couple quests getting stuck trying to turn in when not completed, and alot more of the "could not generate path" errors.

 

I'm really impressed so far. This profile is amazing!

One kind of important issue that keeps coming up, however is a pathing issue whenever the shaman goes to SW to train. For some reason, the path goes "right" over the anvil's in the dwarven district (the ones under the tent). Not only is this odd, but to make matters worse he sometimes gets stuck right in front of several people who are using the anvil to craft; I'm sure the issue is exacerbated by my small stature.

Is this related to the profile, or something else? If a log is pertinent to this issue, please let me know, and I will upload one right away.

 

i never noticed any issues on my sham (but i didn't watch it much unless it got stuck). but i'll stick a blackspot there

it shows the same Id for shaman that you have in your log. I don't know what the issue is bud.

Just checking if this has been fixed, or not, I just dl the profile earlier today and it gave me the error about quest 25278 "cleaning House" the issue is that the horde quest objective has the alliance quest number
"<Objective QuestName="Cleaning House" QuestId="25278" Type="KillMob" MobId="39642" KillCount="8" />" (this is around line 612 in notepad) it should be "<Objective QuestName="Cleaning House" QuestId="25277" Type="KillMob" MobId="39642" KillCount="8" />

 

Thanks! Once I trained ghost wolf (and started using it) it stopped. He started pathing properly using the path that goes near the deeprun tram portal. *shrug*

 

Can I run this AFK? and also whats the bad boy addon for?

 

Please help, I downloaded the Quest Behaviors on the 2nd post and I still had the problem so then I also downloaded the Quest Behaviors from your blog and I still have the issue.On a 70 Human DK

Is it possible by using custom action code to Send Cash on Delivery mails ?

I often has a problem that player is stuck when it completes not all goals of the quest. Like speak to 4 different people, or read some 4 different stones, some of goal's in middle ( usually one) is not completed, but HB thinks it's completed and tryies to turn in. Any clue how to fix that?

 

You have to Start it via the Plugin and Not via the startbutton of hb
