I let my main account laps back in march, and I don't play at all anymore. I have 6 accounts total (1 banned in bc) and every site I go to only lets me get a quote for 1-2 characters. I have 5 85s, a ton of 80s/70s across the other accounts. I've tried Craigslist but I get stuck reading scammer mail or idiots trying to pay me with paypal. Is it a lost cause?
You should probably call up and try to get them separated onto different battle.nets so you can sell them. I'd use google for good reasons as to why you would want to, one of my buddies did it recently and had no problem. I cant remember what he told them (I was pretty high) but he said they didnt really seem to care much about doing it.
Blizzard have no problem putting your accounts onto different battlenets. However, if you split them all up, sell them, then they all get logged on to with different IPs a week after they got split it may raise some concern with Blizz. Just something to consider.
I thought Paypal was pretty good to use for this, but then again, i havent tried it. I am thinking about selling mine also, ive gotten a good offer from a wow-buddy from the country I live in, but ... he was broke atm. But he will buy it this summer if its not sold. This is a battlenet with 2 active accounts containing 13 lvl 85 all with Arch "skilled up" All professions are skilled up and available over the 2 accounts, so i hope to get some decent money back. Current offer on it is 870 Euros.
Yes i contacted them a while back to split off the account that 'i created on my account on behalf of a younger sibling at the behest of parents so they could have me intervene if their playing got out of hand'
