Right Guys, As most have you have noticed with this new 'Detection' System that Blizzard have implanted into the game, a lot of people have been discovered and banned, more so than usual. Just wanted to get a little discussion about this going since the MMOChamp Blue Post was announced about the new detection system. I've had friends of mine who have been grinding with honorbuddy randomly teleported to Orgrimmar/Ironforge and then having there items (Gathered Herbs/Ores/Materials) Deleted from the character as well as the gold. Personally, I've been botting around 15 hours straight most days without running into any issues and I'm quite happy to continue that (As Darkmoon faire is on and i'm getting loaded) But what do you think? Are any of you taking more precautions then normal? and can you post them if you are so. Cheers
I think I personally might need to, I bot 23 hours a day XP But Blizzard don't detect and look at each and everyone single on of us, its players that report you. The complete dick heads who have nothing better to do. Then Blizzard would look at your kills per hour, your routine (Have you been doing the exact same spells eg. Divine storm, judgement, Word of glory. Repeat. There's loads of way's they find us out.
Certainly. Warden 2.0 was released some time ago now and with that came statistics tracking in the form of X resources farmed, Y time online and Z mobs killed. Most of this is heavily documented on many community boards, even here. People will disagree and spout the "it's speculation" argument but whilst I was selling gold I saw people left, right and centre get suspended or banned whilst I stuck to my calculated schedules which were specifically arranged to break up heavy farming periods and randomise, within reason, the times I spent online.
Proper and dated logs or not true. Also, one word... maintenance. So already 24/7 is not quite accurate.
