So i have used arch bot to take a char from 60-85, 70-85, 60-80 with no dwarf staff no zin rok or however u spell it. I have just about every other rare arch item. So whats the deal do i need to do something special to get these items or am i just really unlucky?
Unlucky, some people say that you shouldn't go over 375 skill as this can mess up the way the random loot table works.
Im pretty sure you carn't get them AT ALL at 375, so that would mess it up even more OP: It's just luck, some people could get it on there 100th solve, and others it could be there 1000's
I know for a fact that you can get Zin'Rokh at the skill capped at 450. My shaman got it at 450 and I haven't learned Illustrious on him yet. I dount you can get it at a lower skill of 450, at least I haven't heard of it. Keep in mind that if you are leveling a character, once it hits lv80, it will start getting Cata digsites as well at 450. Good luck farming.
Well thats kinda lame its just bad luck. Ive had SO many digsites gone throguh since im more or less running it 24/7. Such BS. haha wish i was doing something wrong so i could fix it
Three toons now leveled from 60+ to 85 using only arch. None have found the staff or the sword. Have every other useless piece of crap that the profession gives though. Have done the cap at 450 thing and leveled to 525....nadda...not that I really need these items as the main goal is to level to 85 but they would be a reallyt nice benefits to have. I will keep trying. BTW, those Cata dig sites are a pain in the butt at lvl 81/82 and near impossible for the bot to complete with all the adds. I tend to just black list them and when they eventually all end up in Twilight I take over and do them by hand. At the rate I am going, I should probably come across the sword or the staff at just about the same time as new gear is introduced and they become useless.
- You have to have skill level 450 to be able to get the level 85 epic items - You don't want to have skill level 450 as this activates the Uldum and Twilight Highlands areas which are a bitch to go through.
Do these zone not activate once you hit lvl 80 on your toon? That was my understanding. If keeping my toons at 445/450 in Arch will keep them closed then I am a very happy person right now.
