Hey Im looking for a kind soul to make up a profile to assist with getting the Limnologist / Oceanographer achievements (fishing all kinds of fishes). What it would require: -Travel around the continent (one at a time is fine) and fish until fish X is caught, then move to next area -Fish around for "hard to find" fish such as bloated etc Essentially to save us the travel time. I know there are a few "hard" fish - i.e. the big mouth clam that changes location, or the winter / summer fish. You can skip them - just do the 99% majority that requires only traveling and/or fishing at the same spot for ages Cheers
It's possible but it would take a stupid ammount of time to do, i cant imagine that if anyone that has took alot of time to create this would release it to the public.
It wouldnt take a stupid amount of time... wowhead find fish locations for best catches per fish tell bot to go there fish till required fish caught (if already got some way to check off ones u dont need) then u all u need is bot to path way in what zone most efficent well shouldnt be hard scaling down a zone going to nearest next fish needed probally one of the simpler profiles to make imho but something im not interested in...
it's not that Fiendos. try scripting a profile and plugin for it and then tell me it's "not that hard" It's easier to use Mr.Fishit and fish until you got your rare, in whatever location you want. You can easily make a quest profile that does something like: PHP: <If Condition="(!HasItem())" > <CustomBehavior File="FlyTo" <CustomBehavior File="ForcedDismount" QuestId="0" MountType="Any" /> </If> and then make a plugin to fish (don't confuse plugin with botbase) or you can make a plugin that has points hard coded. this is a great idea, when will you have it be ready , Fiendos?
I already have everything but the bloated, all the others you can catch within 1-2 casts. There is a fish or two you can only catch in winter months and 1 you can only catch in summer months. Droprates on each of the bloated fish are somewhat like trying to catch MrPinchy/SeaTurtle/OldCrafty/OldIronjaw Imo this isnt really worth making a profile for, just as kick says... drop the bot in one of the areas where you can catch bloated fish and set MrFishit to work. Perhaps katerlaze might be able to come up with something to play an annoying alarm noise when you collect an item with a particular itemid so that you can walk away until it catches the fish you want
The Limnologist - Outland Ok so the requirements for this achievement have changed so now the only hard ones to catch are Goldenscale Vendorfish with a 1% drop and Huge Spotted Feltail with a 2% drop. So could some one make a profile to fish for that? last 2 I need and it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
