Very appreciative that you took the time to explain rather than just say, "Nope. Cant be fixed." I just respeced Disc 10minutes ago. Going to give heals a whirl. lvl 40atm. Im not using Heirlooms so Im expecting a few wipes! lol.
At level 55-57, in shitty greens (no heirlooms) I was successfully healing BRS and LBRS. Though, it helped the tanks had heirlooms I did 5 runs, 3 in Discipline and 2 in Holy spec. My personal preference is for Discipline.
5 runs as Disc. I almost dont care to try holy. Im practicly healing with shields. Everything is running amazing so far. My only issue atm is that if I sit to drink right as the tank pulls, I will let the whole group die before I get up and heal. When it sits to drink, there is no getting up till 100% mana, lmao. Was a pretty funny almost-wipe. Edit: Okay, somebody died and it wouldnt cast rez? This happening for you?
It does not support rez. My prefered healing spec (as a bot) is Discipline. As you said, its almost healing with shields only. I have Shield and Renew set to about 98%, its rare for it to even need to cast any other spells. Occasionally it will cast Penance, if the tank decides to pull a few too many. I'm using InstanceBuddy, it always seems to break drinking and heal when needed. But one REALLLLLY annoying thing that happens from time-to-time is HB/IB does not select a target, if this happens the CC does not engage in combat, and therefore, does not cast any healing spells. I'm going to add some logic to the Pulse in order to work around this issue. What level is your priest, what instances were you running?
SVN updated. Build 0.0.6 Workaround for a HB/IB bug. Now supports Fade. Won't cast some spells on players if they don't have mobs actively attacking them; eg Shield, Pain Suppression etc... Should (untested) heal when not in combat. Misc other tweaks EDIT: New feature coming soon. "Aggro multiplier". Lets say you have Flash Heal set for 50%. Thats fine if you only have a couple mobs attacking you, but what if you have a bad pull and get 5-8 or 10. Aggro multiplier counts the number of mobs attacking (should be the tank) and adds a multiplier to your healing spells. Eg, If you have 7 mobs attacking the tank. Your Flash Heal is set for 50%, then Aggro Multiplier would change your Flash Heal to 58 (based on a single target multiplier of 0.025) 1+(0.025 * CountOfMobsAttackingYou) * BaseSpellHealth% I have not yet decided on a suitable multiplier, but 0.025 has worked well during testing.
Going to check out new build. I did have a group disband when I walked out of the room for a minute and when I came back, the tank said "Priest why did u just stand there??" So I am assuming that is what happened. Im 41 border 42. Running Maura, SM, and RFK. Im kinda at odds with InstanceBuddy though. Takes so much babysitting. In both Maura's my healer either refuses to jump, or swims to the bottom of the lake you have to jump in and gets stuck. Then in RFK it takes it 3minutes to figure out how to use a bridge. SM worked great, at least. lol.
Hello, I was wondering you said you only have level 60 that you are able to use. Will this eventually be a project for higher level priest. Thanks for all your projects. I am also having trouble figuring out this svn thing.
fps: when it runs out of mana.. it tries to melee.. can you set it to use wand? its not using it even though its equiped.
There is a problem with Shadow now. The CC refused to dps in an Instance. Automatically acts as a healer even in shadow form. Ill post a log after the run. Edit: For some reason I am unable to upload the log to the forums so heres a google Doc link: LINK: Sorry for the AutoEquip Spam
Thanks for trying to help kick. I clicked on svn instructions from you post and it did not work. I also did a search on the forum but cant seem to find the instructions. I did see them once before but wasnt looking for it at the time and now I cant find that post again. Ok I found a pretty good tut that im going to try out from apoc. thanks
On the Healing tab, in the Party Healing and Protection group, you have set "Heal When" to "never"? Unless its set to never it will always try to heal.
