This is getting very close to a public release (zip download) build. If there is anything missing or needs adjusting let me know now.
Heads up seems to be broke at level 1. Casts smite once or twice then stands and does nothing. Hope this is the file you need. If I did something wrong let me know also.
[9:01:02 PM:495] Chose Fpsware Priest(0.0.85) by Fpsware as your combat class! [9:01:02 PM:547] Error trying to save the settings file: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open. EDIT: I've just tested this on 3 level 1 priest, I was able to level all of them to level 2 without fault.
I tried clean HB with clean download from svn same error. No other CCs put into folder. [9:01:02 PM:547] Error trying to save the settings file: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open. Not sure what this means. Thanks for your quick response and time. ok figured it out. There is another setting that says "Smite" never or always set to always works well.
Remove all plugins too. Then attach a fresh log file. That error appears to be some form of Windows security message.
SVN Updated Added: Individual configuration file per character. No more changing settings when you change characters.
I really had no intention of doing it, it happened by accident. I was thinking about "how" I would do it, and the next thing I knew, I "had" done it.
ive played nothing but priests at high level since vanilla release... gonna give this a whirl now... I shall report back!
just finished a couple of TBC dungeons with my 64 priest... I didnt experience ANY bugs unlike when using the bundled CC's the only problem I have is waaaaaaaaay too much over healing. im nit-picking here, and its a problem I have with any healing CC... when a warlock in the group uses life tap during a fight (stupid warlocks lol) they need healing obviously... however the tank is still getting pounded on and is doing their job properly (having all the threat) the warlocks health is going to be <50% so the priest is casting greater heal or another spell that takes a long time to cast. thus, leaving the tank vulnerable to the 10 mobs attacking them. would there be any way to have it so if the warlock uses lifetap, they lose alot of priority from healing until the tank has <5 adds? as i say... its not a major problem, but when the tank gets to <20% health because of a stupid warlock taking up my healing time... its getting around the time to change your pants. ill keep testing, loving your work
sorry for double post, but also... would it be possible to put percentage values on the bars in the UI? it would be easier to set up is all ALSO... maybe adding Heal to the list of healing spells would help. alot of healers use Heal instead of flash heal in endgame for mana efficiency in long fights.
follow the instructions before posting. the first post is very explanatory. and then my post compliments it about SVN's. It's kind of like a sobriety test
ive been running using this all day and tweaking the settings. ill post my healing setup. My disc healing priest (64) with gear from instances: with this I have <35% Overhealing and i very rarely go lower than 75% mana! it is the best setup I have managed to get so far, I hope this helps.
Is Disc or Holy better for instance healing with this CC? I'm currently running Holy at 61, but I seem to run out of mana a lot.
yea, hence the reason i posted my tweaked settings, it may not be right for everyone but i'd say its a good start. ill spend more time on it. i love the CC though, its been flawless all day. thanks alot
