[Neutral] Molten Core + [Rep] Thorium Brotherhood Exalted

Hey guys I just made a profile to farm all bosses in Molten Core.

Three of the bosses drop legendary so good luck!

This profile is AMAZING for getting Thorium Brotherhood to exalted !

Turn Loot Mobs: ON

Classes: I strongly suggest using a class like a paladin or a DK as they heal themselves, but with that said I ran this profile with a holy paladin lol. The only problems you may encounter will be being overrun by lava spawns and also the trash before the 2nd boss. There is no other way to do it really.

Maybe just put that in the 1st post. So many different modes in HB now best to make it prominent.

I'll try it out now on my poorly equipped and newly dinged 85 retribution paladin. I don't expect anything, so don't worry

edit: Just downed Lucifron, but the Core Hound-packs that need to be killed within 10? 15? seconds from eachother proves too difficult for my paladin. I'm in an endless fight with them =/

 

I'm in an endless fight with the core hound pups aswell, maybe the pathing needs to back up a bit after each mob fight to regain full health and mana before moving forward, don't know if this is possible or not though. lvl 353 ret paly using singular 254 and still strugling with the corehounds

EDIT: switched .cc to fpsware paladin and managed to fluke killing a group of them, not consistent though. Used FCFS manually and eventually got through them all.

Maybe just miss Magmadar, 20g worth of gear in reality and takes about 30mins with a bit of luck involved to clear, not worth the time IMHO.

Yes, there is very little anyone can do about that. You need to do this part youself.

 

Excellent profile. Played with one toon botting and a second by hand. no issues at all, even with the core hound packs, until the last boss. For Ragnaros, you have to click to start the fight and then there is a countdown wait period. If you dont stop the bot it will just continue back to the beginning of the dungeon as there is no enemy to fight. When the fight began and I restarted the bot, my toon still tried to leave the area and wasnt targeting the boss. Not that it mattered, you can solo Ragnaros easy enough on one toon. Will try again next week, perhaps stopping the bot in a different location or something. Thanks again for this profile. Makes it much faster farming the place now, i am after the Eye of Sulfuras to make Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros.

 

Actually guildie told me to just agro the boss first, his AOE will kill the corehound pups (only 2 groups will attack you if you keep to the right) and they won't regen, so maybe change the path to go straight to him ?

Is there a way to figure out what hotspots to remove to avoid him, or just blacklist the cave entrance that you have to go through to get to him ?

Just for peoples info, you only need to kill the first pack of those core hounds in the luci/magmadar room. You can skip the rest by running through the path. They have a short aggro range. I always fight magmadar as close to the back wall as possible because he fears but a few times ive actually been feared into those core hound packs and they didnt aggro during the boss encounter. Some kind of bug I think but its handy for people to know

I had never done Molten Core before this profile, so all the info is a help.

I got up to Geddon, and watched myself get thrown up in the air continuously and die, read I need to negate living bomb with Divine Shield, Baron Geddon - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft to get through him, or get out of the way, so another part that needs playing by hand I guess. I will hopefully clear it tonight and leave anything else I find out.

Kinda wierd question, but how do I enter the instance as lvl 85 now?

 

You still need to get attuned. There is a guy at the bottom of blackrock mountain, inside, he has a quest. Run through the instance right there I can't remember the name but at the end is the core rock fragment for the quest. As an 85 you can run thru it without attacking most mobs but there are some boss u need to kill.

As for the core hounds I'd suggest doing them yourself. As a prot pally I love my aoe but I need to constant switch targets to make sure they go down at the same time.

But I love MC. My favorite instance IMO.

 

Molten giants kick me down in the lava, then reset. This have happend for 15 minutes now, so I cant get past the first agro

 

Still need to be in a raid group too.

On boss Golemagg it attacks the adds, core rager, they only die when Golemagg is dead, so they need to go on the avoid list ?
Doesn't loot the chest in Majordomo Executos
Didn't got to do Ragnaros and just started to run out of the instance, but I had some unlooted corpses from early on, maybe it was going to loot them, Ragnaros is one hard sucker.

So, after running it every week since mind 2005 when I started raiding. First time running this profile, Right binding dropped





Is there anyway that it could save last location when you start/stop the bot? I had to stop several times (when I had to AoE everything down and on Baron, CC just wasn't good for it) and whenever I start the bot again, it runs to the beginning of MC and starts all over.
