I have been leveling 2 DK's and all of the CC's for PvP are really not good. The only one that is avg is Simple DK because in frost it actually roots with chains of ice. Also all of the CC when in PvP look like retards when a player is moving. They will constantly move but stop several feet from and try to attack...then try to move..and its retarded. Can they just like Run right ontop of the player in order to try to CC him or attack.
I also forgot to ask if you could please do some tank rotations so we can disable movement and just have fun. I'm not too familiar with DPS or Tank rotations but i know they have them on Maxdps.com and elitestjerks.com
The use of racial abilities would be good like the Draenei healing ability, the tauren warstomp and the use other racial abilities

The ability to use your CC only to do the combat part and the user do the movement just like the warrior cc gladiator
The one thing I really miss, is have a Blood rotation (tanking) without the deseases. From lvl 70 it's possible to tank like this and it gives u a great dps aswell. Skills to use: DnD & DG to start the fight (or IT/BB when they're on cd) / HS & BB to get aggro with 1+ mobs / spam HS / and use RS as much as possible. Use DRW and Ghoul when u're on a boss for extra aggro and a healthpack One thing to notice is to switch targets when u have 3+ group on u. (Cause HS only hits 1 + 2 targets) Really worth mentioning in my opinion!!
Agree 110% I was looking today to see how hard something like this would be to create. I love the ability I have with my War and Shaman (War with Gladiatore) and Shaman with Shamwow to be able to completely disable it from doing anything except my rotation basically. Gladiatore has no movement and such and Shamwow you can disable Movement and Targeting, so it just does what it needs to do while you navigate. I have messed with this on my DK using Simple CC and SimpleDK with the setting to disable all movement. But it doesnt stop targeting which makes it want to attack whenever it gets agroed, instead of letting me control the char and keep moving unless I want to fight. I been playing my Blood DK alot in PVP and would love to just have a small CC that will handle the Combat part for him whenever I initiate combat, dont move or do anything else, just combat if initiated.
I know the op asked for features, and a couple requests are below, but wanted to address some fuzzy logic too. Names of some abilities may be wrong. Always put up both diseases to start (damage debuff on target) so it + ps depending on level. Dont bb on 1+ mobs, as you pointed out, hs hits 1+2 so use bb on 4+ targets, even on pulls (if you can tab tank even better) Tab tanking on multiple mobs based on threat ftw. Save rs for when all runes are on cooldown as a filler and rp dump. Try not to let it cap but prio is runes (missed rune = missed attack). Use rune tap on cooldown. Lichborne and self deathcoil for heals. Empowered rune weapon as an oh shit in case low health and then spam ds as needed. Disease > deathstrike > heartstrike > rune strike. ^^ simplified, not taking in to account damage, buffs, rp cap, damage mitigation^^ Substitute 1 hs for blood tap when taking unsustainable damage. Intelligent interrupts would be good, dk's do have 3 afterall, coupled with ams if needed (but not popped "just because") Randomly tell the dps they should be attacking the tanks target and to focus you In frost > snaring using chains of ice then howling blast would be awesome. In unholy> just don't bug out when pet targets something
I'll still looking for feedback on this. Thanks to everyone who has given suggestion so far. As with all my CCs it will do the following: * All trees are supported * Lazy Raider (built-in) see the Advanced tab in any of my other CCs * Fully customisable UI * Utilise as many spells as possible I'll be investigating the possibility of a 100% fully customiseable priority based rotation system. IE, in the UI you select the order spells will be cast and when/how they will be cast. This is only a remote possibility and may never see the light of day, but it is something I've wanted to do for a while now.
I need some advise from those who play a DK - its been a while for me so I'm asking you. For EACH of the settings, tell me how YOU would configure the options for all 3 specs, Frost, Blood, Unholy. Almost all have the following options: ... always ... never ... only on adds ... only on 3+ adds ... only on 4+ adds ... only on 5+ adds Some spells [Pestilence, Blood Boil, Obliterate] also have the follow options: ... only on 1+ disease ... only on 2+ disease ... only on 3+ disease Some are obvious, they are in the top of the specific tree and have a clear situational, Mind Freeze, Strangulate etc don't worry about that. But for the most part I need you to tell me how you would setup this DK. This is the configuration I'm using for Blood spec:
Yes, this CC is working with all of these spells. So far this CC has had a total of 5 hours development (from scratch) - its screaming along. I've only been able to get my DK to 61 so I 've not been able to test all spells yet.
