Hi All, Ive been playing with some settings in HB trying to get PvP working well, problem is I cant seem to get things going well enough. I look like a bot, running into trees repeatedly, moving backwards and forwards with plugins like squire etc. So I pose these questions to you, 1) Which "bot" do you pick to PvP? BG bot or PvP bot? Or other? 2) Which extra plugins do you use when you PvP? 3) Do you load custom PvP Profiles? 4) Do you use a specific custom class for your class/spec, or a generic one? 5) Do you prefer to heal or dps and in your opinion which one works better? 6) Can you effectively AFK PVP? Don't use squire as it looks to bot like, and use pvp bot I afk as a healer over night with no issues in randoms and specific. Also remember that class spec and cc can depend on how good the bot is in PVP. So you would need to give more info for advice on that part.
Dont use squire. 1. I use bg bot and I dont have too many issues 2. I dont use any extra plugins 3. I have no found any custom pvp profiles 4. I use a 5 star rated CC 5. I prefer heal if your a heal class. Or ranged dps, it looks more natural but either way its not a big deal. 6. I afk pvp all the time. My biggest problem is when my honor gets maxed at 4k
but as a healer dont you have the problem of running off on your own and then just getting killed since you have no offensive abilities? is there a way for my druid to stick with the group and have the bot heal our team?
it will do it most of the time anyways. Just let it do its thing, i personally think AV needs to be fixed as far as the path but thats me. Some devs dont feel that way. However with the other BGs just let it do its thing as a healer druid. Thats what i used and i always got top 3 in heals.
Roll any class thats not a melee class.. and you will be fine Botting + melee in PVP does not work...

Finding it very hard to PVP at 85 very buggy ect.. most of thing's work fine its just PVP I cannot get to work well.
Well i actually cant find my CC i was using since i havnt used it in about a month. (a few reinstalls since then) However i would just use Razzresto. He has a pvp version as well as an instancebuddy version. Only to be used with BG bot. I would give that a try. other than that I beleive I was using an All in one CC and changed around the healing settings to fit my druid and mana.
I would also like to say I have used multiple Melee chars with bg bot and found it to work out jut fine. you just need to make sure you have a good CC. I find it best to look at the CC's that have the most "views" and then also the most stars. Just my offering.
