People say it's a bad idea, but I'm guilty of it. I use profiles for grinding pets, questing for my alts, mining for obsidium/volatile air so I can make lots of gold. I don't sell gold or accounts, I do it mostly for getting gold and cool stuff for my main character, and of course leveling my alts. So, do you bot with your main?
Yea I do and if you only bot as much as you would normaly play Blizz wont catch on as easily...always a chance though

Yes, I bot with my main (and only) account. It is much safer than bot a "pure bot" account... if blizzard (or other player) see someone farming (botting) in full raid gear, with a fresh new "Winged Guardian" mount, and carrying a "Baby Blizzard Bear" feat of strengh companion, they are much less likely to think you are a bot... (so less chance of banning, less chance of reports...). What I do is: - When I am home, I play my main account by hand (well... ALMOST by hand, as I bot (and watch bot doing) dailies, and I also use combat assist (lazy rider) to bot when I play classes that I suck, and I also bot quests (thanks to kickazz profiles)... but I control movement. - When I am sleeping or working, I bot my main account for the gold. In fact... I can't live without botting anymore.... I got addicted and fully dependant on botting hahaah.... When I play a healer, and content is not so challenging (fresh), I also bot the healz, thanks to some excelent Resto Druid (hazzresto) and Shaman healing profiles (shamwow). I dont bot healing priest as bots still suck at priest healing up to now. Disconnects, stucks, server restarts, and HB/profile bugs take care of the "rest" time.... so I am a happy undetected botter.
I use to only bot on my farming account when I first started and feared a ban. But now I bot both in pvp and farming rep, pets, and everything else we can now. Lol sad part is that if it where not for botting blizz wouldn't be getting my money every month. I mean come on..........when they came out with arch what did they think I was going to do? Lol I feel so bad for the ppl who had to actually do that by hand.
I refuse to bot with my main, now more than ever. 8 85's and two more at 70, I'll hand level those myself. I was honestly convinced I'd get banned from all the grinding, but dodged the bullet it seems. I'm also nominated for getting the first dibs on the staff legendary with my mage, so I'm deffo not using my main account until I'm done having fun.
I've been done having fun with leveling for some time now, i think it's more fun to see the bots progress and such. I bot on my main account but only for 6-8hrs a day.
I have come to a point in my world (of warcraft) where i dont actually play more than 3 hours a month myself, so what used to be my main account is now my main acc/main bot
24/7 for weeks... so yes, im botting with main account, 15 lvl 85's ... 16th one coming up. Blizzard wont do nothing, unless you are reported by a player. paying customer is a paying one /thread
After getting perma banned on my main account from using Lazybot (just making money, mining). I didn't play WoW for around 5 month but when I came back I immediately bought Honorbuddy and botted 1 - 80 (leveled 80 - 85 by hand). After getting my Mage (only class I play) to 85 I decided I wanted a rogue and started botting on that but received a 72 hour suspension around level 47 and was scared to bot for around 2 week. I'm botting on my Rogue right now, currently level 69 but just paying super close attention to it now <3.
I have 3 accounts and usually only botting in main with a lot of feats of strengh, old ranks, insane, good archivements in arenas, etc. If someday blizzard banned me I dont care I just enjoy this game when I booting xd and I just bot for fun. I have been banned just one time for booting with glider long time ago and rigth now for me wow is very boring.
I've been told those accounts are monitored extra because of all the spammers using them. But offcourse I don't know if its true. I wouldn't take my chances on such account tho ;-) New vanilla account costs like? 5 euro these days? Then u can go 1 - 60.
I use CC's and LazyRaider on my main account, after i edit the cc's to remove anything that has to do with auto-movement.. I don't do any type of farming on that account.
